I usually buy my hard wax from drug stores but this was better value so I ordered it and OMG I’m so glad I did! This is by far the best wax I’ve tried. It is the perfect consistency, spreads easily and evenly and is the most painless wax I’ve tried. It also dries fast so I waxed my legs in half the time I normally would! It also doesn’t leave my legs red after as some other brands! One tip I have is don’t spread it too thick. It will just break and hurt. This wax is very smooth so apply so that it is just a little see through but not completely sheer! Other waxes I’ve tried need thicker coats and so you end up using more. This will last longer as you don’t need as much wax!

Buckle up for this one, kids. I started off using it to wax my armpits. I'm a bit of a wimp so spread it on and got the kid to rip it off. Great results. Nice and soft. My underarms no longer look like I've just come out of hibernation. Didn't hurt either. So I got bold. Got my other half to help me do my girly bits. For reference, I've never had the garden waxed before. We are both inexperienced at this. He was vaguely amused. I'd slosh it on. It dried a gorgeous purple colour. No rashes, which is great as I have sensitive skin. He'd pull when I wasn't expecting it so I didn't tense up. Going great. Done half the front by this point. Did the back, nervously trumping the whole time. Also pain free. Again, total novices here. Then the final section... Oh dear lord I writhed in pain. Ouch. On the plus side, all smooth. Can't fault the wax at all. It took 2 hours... Hopefully next time we will be quicker. Next I plan on braving the legs, and maybe even eyebrows. Who needs the salon, right? Overall, love the wax, would buy again.

Oh wow. I bought this wax for the first time and went with “plum” after reading the reviews. This stuff is MIGHTY. I waxed my own Hollywood and the backs of my thighs and if you look at my photos attached, the hairs have completely been removed from the papilla. Those suckers won’t be back for a good while! This wax melts on a very low temperature.. 45 degrees apparently. Yet, a piece of wax that I’d used already, fell under my butt during my wax and it melted beneath me 😅 it can get kinda stringy and I had troubles getting the entirety of the beads to completely melt. It’s like they formed a hard lump in the middle, surrounded by wax of a liquid consistency and then took forever to melt the lump but this could be my wax pot, I’m unsure. The only reason I missed one star is because of how difficult it is to dry down on the skin so you can remove it if your skin is a little warm. A fan is your best friend but don’t have it directly on you. I had some trouble with the wax then not going far enough as it’d dry too quickly. I’m going to persevere with this one though. I was able to apply the wax regardless of my hair direction and as long as I pulled it off the opposite way to which I laid it, the hair just came straight out with very little cleanup. Just some tips for the people maybe getting put off by the reviews.. you want to make sure you lay your strip at about the thickness of a banana skin to avoid any snapping. If you’re having trouble getting the wax off, either use a fan to cool the wax as your skin just may be too warm, or you’re not creating a lip at the end of your strip. Create a semi circle at the end to give you a good handle to pull and make sure the sides of your strips are clean too, to avoid little bits to pick off at the end. Also NEVER wack your heater up on full, you may burn the wax. Pop it onto 45 degrees or “medium”, wait 15 minutes, stir, wait again and repeat until you have the consistency of golden syrup or treacle. Thicker than runny honey, but not gloopy! Good luck 🫶🏼

I've been using this wax since 2019/2020 and it's the nicest wax I've ever used and fairly affordable, when using it for a full body wax. It doesn't go hard after you apply it to your skin, which is good because it doesn't crack or break easily. I'll probably cry if they ever stop selling this wax!

This wax is what I have tried on salon. It's smooth and takes all hair off. Doesn't even break when take it off. It comes off smooth. I will definitely will be buying it again for sure. Really happy with this product.

I was honestly surprised by how good this wax is! The Italwax Hot Film Wax in Plum melts down smoothly and spreads evenly, making it super easy to use even if you’re not a pro. It grips the hair really well, even the short and stubborn ones, and pulls them out cleanly without breaking.

I’ve used better hard wax beads before. These take a lot longer to fully dry before you can pull off the strip and are a lot stronger in fragrance which isn’t my favourite thing. But they are around half the price of other brands

Mi sono approcciata per la prima volta alla depilazione con cera brasiliana e ringrazio il cielo di aver scelto questa marca ed in particolare questa cera (nel frattempo ho provato anche la White chocolate ma non mi ha convinto molto). È facilissima da stendere e soprattutto: strappa quasi ogni pelo al primo strappo, la "cleaning strip" successiva avrà si e no 3-4 peli. La uso in particolare per l'area bikini e ascelle. Dopo questa, dato il costo altino, ho provato altre cere brasiliane sia qui su Amazon che quelle del supermercato ma anche una di un negozio specializzato in estetica e niente, ora comprerò sempre questa fino alla fine dei tempi. Non ci sono assolutamente paragoni. Allego una foto della prima strip in assoluto di un'ascella, come potete vedere strappa tutti i peli dalla radice senza spezzarne nemmeno uno. È miracolosa. Italwax migliore marca di cere brasiliane (e sicuramente anche il resto dei loro prodotti non è da meno) in assoluto a mani basse!!

I have used the red colour in the past and i had no problem. This purple color is yes and no; the efficacy is very good but it has slightly unpleasant smell but this can be subjective.

Normally when I fall for a cult beauty product, I try it and immediately realize that it's for real girls who know how to do beauty stuff. Like every few years, I decide that I resent the price and time spent on professional waxing, and spend a fortune on a waxing kit instead. It's always a messy, ineffective, and stressful mistake - I just don't have the skills and will never develop them. However, this time, Italwax hard wax was the product my eye landed on. Even when I ordered it, I was halfway-conscious that it was likely going to end up in the trash, which is why I didn't even buy any of the accompanying products I was supposed to- low expectations. I mean, I cleaned my bikini area with rubbing alcohol instead of an "alcohol-based lotion" that they recommended. I powdered with baby powder that I already had, and got some wide popsicle sticks instead of a fancy spreader. I heated the wax pellets in a pint deli container in the microwave and used an infrared thermometer to check that the temperature was correct. At least I made sure I was organized and had everything to hand (and protected surfaces from drips or spills.) I cannot believe what a great result I got. Cannot. Believe. No excessive reapplication and giving up. No hair follicles pooling with tiny droplets of blood. For hard-to-reach areas like armpits or big areas like legs, it's still probably easier to have a friend help if you want to do a very thorough job, but I was happy with my armpits and lip-area waxing, too. Epilogue: 1. I will now go ahead and get a wax heater, because I know this system works for me. However, removing excess oil with a bit of rubbing alcohol and dusting with plain talc seems just fine unless you want really want to treat yourself to the whole set of specialty products. 2. I had to do some research to differentiate the different colors of wax and it wasn't 100% clear even on the Italwax. This plum one has titanium dioxide, which apparently makes the wax set slightly softer and more flexible, appropriate for "sensitive" areas.
