Griffin Elevator - Computer Laptop Stand

A real revelation to working on my laptop all day!I use a MacBook Air which is brilliant.... but sits pretty low on the desk when not on the move. Stationed next to a much bigger iMac as a second screen, I was often finding myself with a stiff neck at the end of a long day, all caused through bad posture.The elevator has positioned the Air at a much more comfortable level and makes working across the two screens very easy. I bought this along with a USB mac-styled keyboard which allows me to sit back in my chair with full support.An unintentional bonus is that I am able to tuck this keyboard away under the stand should I need the extra space on the desk surface. Also the geek in me loves that this stand looks great with the Mac gear I'm using.I appreciate is's hard to get excited by a computer stand, but this really has made a big difference to my working day. Highly recommended!

I bought this product for my wife to use with her netbook when she's working at home - but I've used mine for years on the recommendation of a chiropractor, to mitigate against the harm I was doing to myself by regularly using a laptop for a day's work and curling my spine in the process. Since using it and changing other elements of my lifestyle I have had fewer phases of back tension.The Elevator is a simple, elegant, well built product which has a certain beauty of its own. Although you might think that using your laptop while it is perched on a platform such as this would be disconcerting, it never is a cause for concern, in practice. It can be easily dismantled if you want to use it elsewhere, too.I would thoroughly recommend it!

Really easy to set up and if necessary pack away. Sturdy stand and a good height. Very pleased.

This stand is simple and easy to put together. My laptop fits perfectly at the right height. I have purchased the wireless keyboard and mouse too so am now sitting comfortably at an ergonomic position at my desk which has resulted in less back pain so I am delighted.

Good, well made and well price laptop stand. Looks good and holds a number of different machines, and the rubber pads make sure none of them slide off.

This is my 2nd time getting this model of laptop stand. It's one of the most useful and space-saving designs i have come across. I love that i can just stow an external keyboard beneath it. The height of the laptop platform, though not adjustable, is perfect for me. I have no problem recommending this. Delivery was very prompt too.

Does the job, but not particularly sturdy. The parts only clip together, so there's a bit of wobble, and an annoying amount of the whole laptop bouncing up and down while you type.Visually it looks quite nice, and the rubber grip is great.
