Sturdy and robust
Really great for crafting. Sturdy and does not bend, great for corners. Quite heavy but not that thick so not great for very deep projects. Good ruler and very useful.

Great product!
Handy little set square (200x300mm/8"x12") and good value for just £6.99. Strong construction from alloy steel and the white numbering/markings stand out well against the black square. The only problem I have found is that whilst the square is very good in 2D scenarios (like drawing on paper or one plane of an object), it is harder to use in 3D (where you are working around a corner) as when you try to mark a square line across the object you have to tilt the square so it makes contact along the short edge which can throw off your line slightly. A lip along the edge would have solved this, but made the square thicker.

Good quality item
This square is definitely square. Price competitive. Easy to read white print on black steel. Well made and is ideal for me, use it for catapult bands. I am sure it would work well for a number of D. I. Y. Applications.

Does the job - but doesn't last forever
ON my third one of these now. Used on a daily basis, and wear and tear quickly takes its toll. I have two 12" silverline straight rulers that have lasted for 20 years, and two metre rulers that have lasted the same - so why should a 12" L ruler lose most of it's marking after less than a year? Cos the markings seem to be painted/printed on, rather than engraved. Other than that, it does the job!
