I bought this to do micro electronic projects. So far it has been excellent and very very useful. The Important part is of course the glass. This has two zones for magnifying. One large area for close up work and another for very close work. Both of which are very clear.The illumination is excellent and covers the entire work piece. The entire thing is adjustable and even comes with a couple of tools for different kinds of work.It does come with a solder stand, but I haven't used it as I use a bench station and prefer the one that came with that.Overall I'm very impressed. It's cheap and sturdy.

It was easy to assemble and look and felt good quality. I have now used it and works well the the electronic I working on. Until I put soldering iron in the holder it fell over. I removed the base cover and added as much weight as possible and cured the problem. If the manufactures did is it would cost a lot more in postage.

Lovely helping hand. Adjustments easy to change. After installing batteries, the LED light is helpful under the magnifying lens. Useful micro vice for that third hand. The crocodile holder slides forward so that the lens and light is in the correct place. Overall a well thought out piece of kit. Great for soldering small model aircraft connectors

The Heping Hand Magnifier is something I had always wanted to assist with model making and electronic circuit board assembly. Out of the box, it was easy to assemble the relevant clamps and insert the batteries (not supplied).In use, it is easy to use the croc clips to hold the work and then turn on the light to look through the magnifier. You can then see the fine detail of the work in hand. Useful also to power the led light from a USB outlet although I have none on my workbench so I use the battery option.All good so far, the only problems I have encountered are that the mini vice easily falls off, it could do with a clip to secure it to the body. And secondly, the soldering iron holder tends to swing in so that the iron tip touches the body of the holder. This could easily melt the body of the holder! Despite checking the holder for tightness it still tends to swing and then touch, but it could be my soldering iron or the springy bit needs to be narrower at the base?Overall though a very useful and value for money tool on the bench.

Ordered Saturday, arrived today, took a good look at this item as it will be getting a lot of use, Overall it's well made even if it is plastic, which means it's very light which could prove a problem for regular bench work, solvable obviously but some ballast would improve the product.Lighting works well over the work point though the power source in the advert was a little misleading, it's either battery or USB so be aware.Magnification works in conjunction with the lighting which may prove a little tiresome to get both were you want them and not sure about the hi-mag inset set to the right of the lens, works ok but it's position cannot be adjusted.Standard croc clip work holders have good tension and are fully adjustable with a central vice to hold the work, suitable for light products only.Overall I'm happy with the product and would recommend it to any serious modeller who could quickly solve the very minor problems with it which is why I am prepared to give the whole process 5 stars

It's a bit light, could do with a weighted base. It can be an art to get the croc clips positioned, and I wish that the magnifier had more articulation. Those are the frustrations that are impossible to ignore.However, it's absolutely invaluable. As a computer nerd with wrecked eyes from years of staring at monitors, I find this a godsend. The magnifier and light work really well, and once you get the workpiece positioned, it leaves you free to concentrate on your soldering. The USB power cable means you can power the light from a USB power bank almost indefinitely.With the caveat that the base should be heavier, I have to say that I like this Helping Hand. It may be light plastic, and not perfect, but it's really useful. I'm glad that I chose it.

I bought this as a platform for my introduction to the world of electronics and soldering. I needed something that would hold the piece of work I was practising on while giving me steadiness and a clear lens to look through. This Fancii helping hands gave me it all plus LED lighting to illuminate what I was looking at. It is simple to put together only having a few parts that need assembled and there is flexibility of movement to allow me to do all that I needed to. Great bit of kit. I had one query, which was answered very quickly. Customer service was impeccable.

I was super-disappointed with this purchase - it seemed to have all the features I wanted but fell short.The magnifier is plastic - I held my soldering iron just a little too close and now it has a heat stain. The LED lights are very dull and not well-positioned. The USB power cable is super-short, so you need a USB extension, a close power socket or use batteries. The soldering iron holder is a waste of space and I've removed it - no matter the angle I used, the whole thing was very prone to toppling over as it's super-light. The clamp and clips are okay for light-touch work - soldering is fine, but not suitable if you need to hold something tightly in the right position. The neck and arms are okay too - you can't move the magnifier to the side, but other movements are pretty good; it's easy to move around and it stays in place.All-in-all, I can't recommend, and wish I hadn't gone for an all-in-one solution.

Bisher habe ich Lötarbeiten mit einem Platinenhalter, einer Dritten Hand und einer Lupenlampe durchgeführt. Diese Dritte Hand vereint alles in einem Gerät und ich habe mehr Platz auf meinem Schreibtisch. Die angebaute Lupe kann sich durchaus mit der, in meiner Lupenlampe mess. Das LED-Licht ist hell genug.Die Dritte Hand wirkte zuerst etwas leicht und kippelig, aber mit eingelegten Batterien besserte sich der Eindruck, zumal der Fuß verhältnismäßig groß ist.

Buen producto y acabados.Seleccionado frente a productos similares por varios motivos pero principalmente por:A1) Ausencia de marco en la lupa que permite una visión mas continua (sin zonas que obstaculicen cambios al realizar el enfoque cuando se pasa de zona no ampliada a ampliada).A2) Facilidad y rapidez en el ajuste del brazo de lupa.Sin embargo, en todos estos productos se echa en falta un enfoque mas natural (menos ojo de pez) y la minilupa reduce el área de visión disponible.Mejoras posibles...B1) Ya que la ausencia de marco lo permite, deberían suministrarse 2 lentes (sin mezclar aumentos) de tal forma que pudieran ser intercambiables en función la necesidad del trabajo a realizar.B2) Debería suministrase con alimentador y batería interior (LiPo con circuito cargador interior) para evitar el engorro de cambio de pilas.B3) La iluminación debería ser mas potente y difusa (menos direccional para evitar reflejos y ver mas área).

Non ho ancora potuto provarlo,mi manca lo stagno per fare saldature,purtroppo per l'ennesima volta la spedizione di Amazon è in ritardo,per questo ribadisco di evitare l'abbonamento prime,non vedo molti vantaggi,non mi interessano video e musica,farò spese solo con estrema necessità,ritornando al prodotto,mi sembra solido e ben attrezzato,ottima lente illuminabile,con 3 AAA o USB,molto elegante come designe,istruzioni solo in inglese ma è semplicissimo montare le pinzette,il negoziante è molto disponibile,spero di provarlo presto sperando che dopo 2 giorni di ritardo arrivi il famigerato stagnoProvato,è perfetto,unico problema è la base,troppo piccola e leggera,non regge il saldatore nell'apposito alloggiamento,il peso fa cadere il prodotto lateralmente,fortunatamente il mio saldatore ha un proprio alloggiamento
