Strenght, stronger faith through life storms and trials, knowing God answers prayers and is with us through it all.
I truly enjoyed reading this story. It taught me so much about the things happening in my own life. I have ALS Disease ( Lou Gehrig ' disease ),It takes a lot of prayers and patience from one day to the next. My Heavenly Father gives me the strenght I need. My loving daughter and grandchildren give me a desire to want to live. My family, friends, church family, and many people are praying for our family. They aresharing words of encouragement, doing kind deeds, showing so much love and kindness to our family. We are part of the ALS Jim "Catfish" Hunter support group, taking part in The ALS WALK TO DEFEAT ALS. My doctor and researcher is Dr. Richard Bedlack at Durham, N.C., ALS Clinic. This book shows how God is at work in the storms, trials and good times. Teaching us to wait for His will time and place. In the end all things works together for good to them who love the Lord.I am so thankful that my daughter read your book. She told me I would enjoy it. We were both so blessed by this amazing book and the strength of the chacters.

What a Powerful and Beautiful Story
This book runs the gambit of emotions as the main character, Elisabeth, totally commits her life at a young age, to follow and obey Jesus. A story of complete reliance on God through a life of great difficulties. This will fill your heart as you read, with the truth of trusting and obeying God no matter the circumstances. I loved this story and won't soon forget it. Read it and be blessed.

A story of faith
The MC must overcome many obstacles and tragedies in her life yet keeps her eyes on Christ. A rollercoaster of emotions, sometimes it was a bit overwhelming. Beautiful ending.

A Great Book Whether You're Religious or Not....
I was given this book as a teenager. I read it and thought it was a well written book, but didn't think much else of it. Now as an adult, even though I'm not religious in anyway, I can see the greatness of it. If you read the book in its entirety then think about it, you start to see that all of what happens to the main characters happens to everyone. And honestly, good for her for being able to have faith in something NO MATTER what was happening. She was tested many times, but had hope for better things and stuck with it throughout. I think that having hope, obviously not necessarily in God, but in people, things in general goodness will almost always prevail. I think everyone should read this as it shows what hope and courage looks like.

Bravo!
I grew up in the Church of Christ, singing the songs from this book, learning the Bible verses quoted here, my baptism, attending church camp - so many beautiful memories of my childhood came to the surface. It made me think about the legacy of my mother, and her mother and dad before her, and so on - the ripples of influence we have by living a Christian life. This book highlights innocence and joy, insecurities and fears, the rewards of purity, and the rejection by many of living with honor and love. I have recommended this to my sister and will recommend it to anyone interested in the trail of happiness and tears that comes from a life lived as a Christian.

Absolutely wonderful
I laughed, I cried through the entire book. I am studying the Precept Upon Precept "Covenant" study for the fifth time in preparation to lead it for three 5th time. I have been so impressed with the "obedience of faith" in the Word. This Nov really give an example of living a life in the obedience of faith. You won't regret reading it. God bless all who read it to study Covenant and commit to a life in the obedience of faith.

this story is too tragic to be believable
The main character in Though None Go With Me is too saintly to be real. Bad things do happen to good people and believers are not exempt from their share of trials, but this book goes into the level of unreality. In addition, the characters are not well developed so one does not feel the level of empathy as a believer that you would expect.

Though None go With Me
I thought this would be more of a missionary story. I liked it a lot but found the ending a bit too rushed. The book moved along nicely until then and I felt the writer just wanted to wrap up loose ends quickly! Good message about faith and suffering though.
