Nice tool, as always with park tool.
Not cheap, but not hugely expensive either but this tool for a home mechanic could well last a life time especially with replaceable nylon ends. It's not often a hammer is needed in my bike repairs, but I've found myself reaching for this a few times now.The nylon end endures no damage to components, and it has some good weight to it, I've used it for as little as tapping a barb into some hydraulic hoses and as big as providing some shock to seized bolt.I was a little worried when I saw the different sizes of hammers, that id ordered one just too big/heavy for the job but it's just fine, it's the size of a 'normal hammer' and can be used to gently tap or brute force and ignorance, maybe the smaller variant is more road bike friendly? But whatever, great hammer and good quality feel.

High quality and good value
As you'd expect from Park Tools, a very substantial hammer - metal on one side and rubberised on the other, ideal for the serious bike workshop. Pretty large - don;t walk down the street with this unsheathed or you might get arrested!

Bigger and Heavier than Expected
I have just received my Park Tool HMR-4 Shop Hammer Tool and I must say that on first impressions I am impressed and pleased with it.It looks and feels top quality. It has a nice "heft" to it, and is comfortable in the hand.A good worthwhile addition to my garage / workshop tool kit.

Great hammer, as expected from park tools
Great hammer, well balanced, use it constantly for work and for jobs on the farm. Replaceable plastic end means you can repair it after you've worn the edges off. Would buy again without hesitation.

Park Tool quality, at a price though
Park tool is a well known brand in the world of bicycle maintenance. Of course one should be able to find a cheaper option if brand doesn’t matter. I am not a mechanic but a DIY person and this hammer with a hard and soft head each was ideal, plus the brand.
