Is this the right stuff to add dewdrops to flower embellishments?

Never thought about doing that, sounds a great idea. Also try stickies star dust if you want sparkle as you can use it to make dewdrops pearls so it may work for you to get them same effect.

Can I use this on fabric? lace in particular. I have tried other products,they darkened the lace and I lost all the thread definition

I have never tried it but I think it would work if you used it very sparingly with acetate/plastic bag under the lace until it dried. Good luck.

can this be used to stick metal to cured resin?

I have used this to stick a good many things like metal things to wood and painted surfaces, when dried itself it looks a little like resin and then I have stuck things to it in its dried state, maybe if you could try/test it in a small sample area 1st, but I can't see why it would be a problem.

Has anyone had a problem with this yellowing or turning cabochon trays blue... before I decide to buy some...

I have used this for years and never had a problem with it. However I tend to use it on coloured card and as a very strong adhesive. I don't know what a cabochon tray is.
