A very efficient & professional product.
This is clearly a very well-made product; robust & easy to use. Very clear instructions to get started. Print quality is excellent. Very good all round value.

Great All Rounder
Great printer, works really well across the functions and has a good scan quality. Marked it down from 5 due to the cost of inks and the fact that it sometimes has issues with the a4 paper being fed in that means you need to reset it on the dashboard. Otherwise though, as an all rounder it does a sterling job and is the hub of our office.

Works a treat so far
I haven't had this printer very long, so time will tell, but at a very reasonable price, it so far works a treat and was easy to set up. I like that it has a document feeder on top for handling larger bundles, though it's a bit of a bore that it can only do double-sided printing if you turn pages over manually. However this is a fairly small negative for me, as it has a 'best buy' rating from 'Which', seems able to do things well and is modestly priced compared to many other highly-rated printers. Scanning is much easier than it was on my previous Epson printer. It has a fax facility which I will probably never use, though some people may find this useful. I haven't used it to print photos yet but this isn't something I do very often. The instruction manual (which you have to download; it doesn't come with a printed version) is extremely comprehensive!

Not entirely satisfactory
The print quality is fine but the printer goes offline for no reason which is very annoying. Also on a Mac I have not been able to use the instructions on the disc and have struggled to use it for coping or scanning. Rather disappointed on the whole

Very Pleased
This printer is excellent at printing and copying. Haven't really used the scanner yet except to try it out and works well. Don't expect I will ever need the Fax but you never know. Quite straight forward to set up although I had to get a Driver from Canon's website.

Do not buy this. Complete waste of your money
This printer was a complete waste of my money. Installing it was already a nightmare. It comes with a pile of instructions in any possible language but all of it to install it as a fax machine! Nothing about it as a printer. Who buys fax machines in 2021 anyway? It even brings an Ethernet cable with it but not a USB one! A display and menu of the 1990s, unable to easily find the Wi-Fi network. Then Windows10 will not have any drivers for it nor can you easily find them online or (who knows!) in the Canon website. You will have to download and install the Canon printer software to make it work. The software is itself anything but straightforward. When you finally overcome all this, the printer starts going off line all the time. Bottom line, I am now throwing it away alongside my hard earned cash. Whatever you do, do not buy this piece of junk.

Nice printer
Nice quality printer. Learned my lesson from buying lower spec / lower cost printers in the past.

Distorted text after a few months.
This printer, with a good Which? review, seemed a good cheap option to replace my excellent, but aged, HP. Sadly the print quality started to degrade after a few months, with some text darker than the rest, almost looking like bold, and other lines of text sloping either forwards, like italic, or backwards. This is completely unacceptable. In addition the tiny LCD display is so annoying, and almost impossible to read unless you get the lighting just right.Altogether I would not recommend this to anyone, and am looking for a better model after less than a year.On the plus side the scanning worked well, although having to run a separate program to do a scan rather than just pressing a button is poor.
