Good value and good quality

I read a lot of bad reviews for this product, mostly about it being hard in the tube and unusable or too sticky to work with, but I didn't need much, it was cheap and I could get it next day delivery. My tube arrived next day as promised, cannot fault the vendor at all, the tube was liquid as far as I could tell and I proceeded to use it to secure and waterproof the power cable of my fish-finder to the tackle box of my kayak. Yes this stuff is sticky, it's Silicon sealant and I've never used any that wasn't so this was no big surprise, I found it difficult to get a nice finish but then utilised an old trick which I have come to use with all Silicone sealants, I took a soapy sponge and wiped a teaspoon across it's surface and then used the back of the teaspoon to smooth over the surface and it worked a charm, neat, tidy, minimal mess. so far so good, I will return and update this review when I see how this stuff dries, how long it takes, how tough and durable it is and whether or not the partially used tube can be re-used. (It's in the fridge right now, I'm hoping that keeps it liquid long enough to put a second coat on). *EDIT...Surface dry within a few hours, looks pretty good, glooped the inside of the tackle box and will leave overnight to cure, I'm impressed with this product up until this point! *EDIT... Follow up: Set very nicely, cured nice and firmly, watertight and looks good. Took a chance on this product and pleased I did its excellent. I'm going to paint some Le Tonkinois over the top to protect it but don't think it needs it.

I used this silicoln to fix a water leak that was getting into my engine compartment that had caused a £1000 repair. This stuff is so sticky and dried really hard. It fixed the problem but the only downside is you cannot get it all out of the squeezer. I still have loads left but there it is almost impossible to get out without cutting it open. Overall it worked well.

Very good product. I have used many over the years to seal leaks and glass on windows screens and other places. Please let me tell you give this a try. You will be amazed. Lovely silky flush finish gorgeous very happy.

It is a super sticky formula that is quite a loose solution. Once on the car window to fix it to the frame, it will goo everywhere when you push it on, don't over squeeze it out. It's difficult to control it because it's not a thick paste. It stuck my windscreen really well, it is waterproof, but unfortunately, it cracked the glass too. The extensive heat changes from tropical to wet and cold, moved the window and the sealant didn't, so it cracked the glass. One big massive crack from the side ran across from the passenger side. It's okay for an emergency fix, but get it done by a windscreen specialist if you lose the rubber around the windscreen. Like I've just had to do via the car insurance.

Effectively sealed my rubber window surround

I bought this with the though of using it to seal some old hiking boots that had their rand replaced and not sealed properly and thats precisely what I've done. i have yet to test them in deep water but in puddles and heavy rain this has held well and the wear of walking in them has yet to have any effect. All in all this tube is easy to use, though I do wish the nozzle had another smaller notch available as standard this has been great and adhesion on Vibram rubber as well as leather works well. I've also since used this on a classic car's poorly sealed window and like above it's done a brilliant job. Value for money I have no complaints, theres enough to do quite a lot.

... the tune less so. Applying the sealant carefully, to replace door seal rubber that had perished, was successful but the tube leaked form the other end which made the job more complicated.

Bon produit, j en suis au 2e achats, ça colle, ça étanche, par contre rien en français. Facile pour se nettoyer les mains ensuite.

Tube war schon halb ausgetrocknet !! Brauchte es Dringend und hatte keine Zeit zum zurück senden. Eine zweite Dosierspitze wäre ebenfalls hilfreich

Più che un classico silicone sembra più un mastice, ha soddisfatto appieno la mia necessità di sigillare il paraurti posteriore dell'auto, l'unico neo è che magari "tira" troppo velocemente. Comunque lo consiglio rispetto ai marchi più famosi e conosciuti.

Es lo esperado. Silicona de calidad para el uso automovilístico, adhiere con fuerza y el sistema de boquilla desenroscable permite volver a cerrarlo para usos posteriores sin que se seque.

Bueno, lo use para repasar el soporte de la antena del coche, y se quedo muy bien, como dice el titulo, cumple su función.
