Finally got to use it and seems to work great

Will use for checking animal temperature. Good safe thermometer.

Perfect for puppy first aid kit. May not need it a lot, but when I do it is better to be prepared just as we are for our kids.

Only works in celcius, no Fahrenheit

The item worked very well. The color orange is great. It stands out and you know it is for your animals. I used it under the front leg, she did not mind it at all. Good to know she did not have a fever. Would recommend.

I bought this in hopes it is a little more durable than the typical horse thermometer. The glass ones are one and gone if they drop.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not waste your money. The battery pre-installed was so low it first read "low", when I tried again it read "err". It came with a replacement battery, but that battery was also dead. I know I can return the item, but my time is too valuable to go through the effort for such a low priced item. I will go to the pet supply store and purchase another thermometer. Live and learn... you get what you pay for.
