Excellent product!!! Tesla mobile chargers (120v) are not intended to be used with extension cords, and I now know why. I must’ve went through six extension cords over the past few years. Why? Because the plug ends get excessively hot, and runs the risk of a fire. The problem is that most all extension cords use these cheap little crush clamps to connect the cord’s wires to the plug end. These manufacturers do that because it is cheaper and faster to make, but it most certainly isn’t what you want. Well, the said clamps are a bottleneck, creates resistance, and resistance/ ohms (𝛀) is converted into heat. Not only is the heat and potential for fire an issue, so is the loss of potential energy delivered to the device being used. Main point, if you don’t switch your extension cord’s plugs with something significantly more substantial, you run the risk of fire and/or reduced energy delivery. After replacing the terminal ends (plugs/ this product) there is very little heat, and my EV charges significantly faster. The only downside is fitting the stranded wires into the reception ports/ holes, to get ALL the wires in. Leviton could do better for ease of application. This connector is extremely solid, and well built - industrial standards. Connection is tight, and very serviceable. Bottom line, if you have a high demand load/ device, YOU NEED THIS!!!

Very easy to wire when replacing a damaged plug or building a new cord. Cord clamp can handle a wide range of wire sizes from 18/3 up to 10/3. Not the least expensive option but why take chances on questionable quality when dealing with 120v. Get this plug, a proven quality item.

I had to use bulk cable to make a super-long extension, so needed 3-prong male & female connectors. I bought two Leviton $5 type connectors, which were very poor using heavy wire. I splurged on this "black-white" series and was overjoyed at the quality difference!! Well worth spending the extra money!

These are easy to use and make your own extension cords. The screws hold the wires tight. A ground plug is a necessity for safety and functionality, this has the prong for that. They are durable enough to with stand some harsh use in an outdoor lighting as long as you keep them enclosed in a plastic zip lock bag. The size makes it easy to build your own cords, they are lite weight, but heavy enough to do the job. I use them in my outdoor blowups and lights for the holidays.

This is solid equipment. Wiring system design and function is first rate. Easy to be sure to get good wire engagement and clamping. Accommodates really heavy gauge....I put this on 10g or maybe it's 8ga stranded 0.65" OD free surplus wire I had laying around and got it to work, but it wouldn't likely work for heavier wire, not that anyone would do that anyway. But I'd like 1/8" more space between the back of the wire connection assembly and the strain relief just to make it work better with heavier wire. Yeah, they're not going to retool for such a request...just note that with heavy less flexible wire, assembly will be much more difficult.

This standard household 230 VAC plug is heavy duty and a 2 pole 20 Amp 230 VAC circuit will power many household and shop equipments nicely. A 12 gauge stranded wire cord is sufficient for a 20 Amp circuit and the twisted stranded wire inserts easily into the heavy duty terminal clamping screw connections. The back shell clamps tightly around the cord and makes the plug strong and easy to grasp to insert into the wall receptacle. Make sure to use the right phillips and standard blade screw drivers and I found the plug wiring easy to do, at least for a retired electrical engineer.

Plugs worked great Like I expected since they are a good name brand. They were shipped quickly.

Llevo más de un año usándolo y súper bien. Solo checa tu amperaje siempre y darle mantenimiento checando que sigan bien apretados los tornillos con los cables. Muy bueno.
