New Look A 10-12-14-16-18-20-22 Sewing Pattern 6086 Misses Tops, white

I am getting very grown up and this is the first pattern I have ever bought. I did a lot of research online and found an 'easy' pattern and something I really wanted to make for myself. My mum has also looked at it (sewer extraordinaire) and she said it looks a good pattern. I cannot wait to finish my first item of home made clothing. The instructions on the back about material required etc were so clear that I understood them without even asking my mum. Pleased so far!!

I was tempted to give this four stars. It's a nice top but far too wide on the neck. So much so it shows my bra straps and slips off my shoulders whereas the body is a perfect fit. I'm not an expert dressmaker so maybe someone more experienced could alter the pattern. The opening on the v necks doesn't look so wide so will look at that next time. Other than that, the pattern was very easy to follow and I will wear the top in sunny weather when I can expose more shoulder and chest!

Nice Model, but explanations in french, annoucend are missing and not onlyin this patterns When New look annouce english spanish , anr french explanations, why is french missing? I live in Blegium and need it! Otherwise good product;

Perfect for me as a beginner. I made the shoestring strap top in a flimsy neon pink and lengthened it. Then I made the sleeveless top, omitted the side split, lengthened and Made it A line in a black lacy fabric. The black to be worn over the pink. Perfect for the larger (and smaller) lady. I am going to make different colour 'under' tops for simple different outfits.

Mais pour quelqu'un d'expérimenté, c'est une très bonne affaire car plusieurs modèles possibles
