Think twice
This sensor started of great and gave good readings but after a couple of months the outside temp (A common fault apparently) started to go loopy giving me way off readings like minus 40 in the sun. After a lengthy email conversation starting in May and ending in July they told me as I purchased through a third party then my warranty was void! They couldn't even send me a replacement part that I offered to pay for how does that work? But they do finish up there emails with "have a great day now" so that made it all better . Download the met office app it's free and less aggro.

Got it to replace one that i had for 12 years. It's nice that this has Two solar panels for the fan. My old one the data sent was off a lot, and it had lived out on the pole through hailstorms and harsh winters. the new one looks so white. I had forgot just how white they are. I got his at a great price, had to reset my receivers, which is a no brainer. Works very well.

Replaced a similar Acurite unit that lasted many years (so long that i can't remember the original purchase). Hard to believe that plastic can last so long

This is to replace an existing one that after about 5 years stopped working. Apparently it's a thing that some component that always goes every few years. They do sell the part as a spare part in America but not in Australia. So you need to buy all new one. Please note that you still have to buy an internal display or another module to do the online side of it.

This is my second unit. My first unit lasted about 5 years in some pretty rough weather on a 8' post on my dock on the St. Lawrence river. The rain gauge failed after about a year. The remaining sensors worked well until the photoelectric cells failed at year 5. I hooked up my new unit to my old Acurite display with no issues and all sensors are responding correctly. Bottom line: you get what you paid for, but I have no regrets.

This weather station has solar panels that need to face south in the northern hemisphere. So if used in the southern hemisphere like Australia, the solar panels need to face north and the indicated wind direction will be out by 180 degrees. Also the solar cooling fan motor sounded a little noisy, but seemed to work ok
