Great little fan, easy to install and it’s very quiet. Good price and prompt delivery.

The fan is not silent in operation but has a quiet low air rushing sound. No vibrations that can be heard outside the room when the door is closed. The back draught flap is just a thin plastic film that you might be tempted to throw out as packaging if you did not know. It seems to be effective as I can feel no back draughts in the light wind conditions in recent days. Also you do not hear any clacking as you would from a mechanical back draught protector opening and closing in gusty conditions. I ordered the version with just the adjustable over run timer. (So had live and switched live available at the point of installation.) I turned the adjustment trim pot up full then backed off a quarter turn. This gives me 18 minutes of over run after it is switched off. This works well for the shower room and all steam is cleared. Installation was easy to complete.

Looks good and does the job, but is not ‘silent’. I’d give it a quiet , but same noise as the old 20 year old fan it replaced. And I have mounted it well - no stress to make it noisy. Cut off timer seems to work ok and is adjustable. Overall I’m pleased.

By far the best extractor we’ve had. I will be ordering one for another one of our bathrooms soon. It really quiet and removes all the moisture from the walls after a shower.

Vent is a huge improvement on the one it replaced. It worked on the two wire config immediately. It's much quieter than it's predecessor too. 10/10

I hate to say it, but do not buy this fan (or any other from Environvent). It claims to have a 5 year warranty. Mine stopped working after 2.5 years. The manufacturer says you should go to your supplier if you bought it from a retailer (Amazon) to get a replacement. But when you contact Amazon they say they would only replace after 2 years. Then you go back and email the manufacturer and they ghost you. They will only support you if they installed it themselves. So in the end, you are left with a dead fan in your hand and no help. The warranty is worthless. Avoid Envirovent on Amazon.
