Lindt Excellence Intense Dark 90% Cocoa Chocolate Bar, 100g

Delicious! Just enough sugar to take the edge off the 100% dark chocolate. Seriously moreish!

These are out of this world! They're emulsified through repeated stirring rather than soy lecithin and contain an infinitesimal amount of sugar. When paired with similar "dark tastes" there is an unexpected flavour explosion. For example, this dark chocolate pairs very well with cigars, whisky, red wine (Italian is best I find) and even pork scratchings bizarrely. Of course this ignores all of the myriad health benefits of eating high cocoa content chocolate too, which I won't go into here lest I be accused of being a snake oil salesman; suffice to say, when I pair this chocolate with green tea I feel as if my mind has been opened and I work with a clarity not felt since I was younger. I could eat these by the kilo but I exert self control and only have 3 or 4 squares a day, alas. I cannot recommend Lindt 90% dark chocolate enough. When eaten without anything sweet you don't notice the bitter undertones, and in any case they're overwritten by the delicious nutty/caramel/chocolatey flavour.

I chose this 90% dark chocolate because of its sugar content. 7g of sugar per 100g of chocolate and still tasting very good - that is rare :D usually I find other brands more bitter but the Lindt balanced this choclate just right. Be aware that if you eat tons of sweets every day you might not enjoy this chocolate. I would advise to go for 70% dark chocolate as it will apear sweeter to you. I have it from my own experience. When I eat lots of sweets, this chocolate is just not sweet enough for me but once I cut sugars to minimum I enjoy it a lot.

Decided to try a bar of this after finding out you can have high cocoa content chocolate if you're trying to reduce your carb intake, as there's very little sugar in it. It's REALLY good, lovely and smooth and not as bitter as i thought it would be being 90%. So nice i bought this 5-pack. You get 10 large squares in a bar and i find 1 square is enough to satisfy any sweet cravings after a meal. I tried some 100% cocoa chocolate from Sainsbury's (Montezuma, i think) and it's not a patch on this Lindt stuff.

Bitter, inedible and awful. Stick to less than 70%.

Non delude, prodotto eccezionale

Para mí el mejor chocolate que tiene Lindt. Sabe a cacao sin tener ese toque de amargor fuerte del de 99%. Lo volveré a comprar. Sale más barato que en el hipermercado.

Warum habe ich das Produkt gekauft? Ich habe es gekauft, weil ich mich kohlehydratarm ernähre (wegen Migräneproblemen, siehe Buch "Migräne ist heilbar"), aber ab und zu möchte ich etwas "Süßes" essen. Was gefällt mir gut? Nun gut, ich bin kein Schokoladenexperte, aber die Mischung aus Bitterem und Süßem finde ich klasse. Die Schokolade zergeht auch toll im Mund und macht mich glücklich und zufrieden! Die Kohlehydrate in der Schokolade kann ich verschmerzen, denn ich esse ja nur ein oder zwei Stücke davon. Von daher habe ich nichts zu meckern. Was gefällt mir nicht so gut? Na der Preis natürlich. Ca. 2 EUR für eine Schokoladentafel finde ich schon ordentlich. Aber nun gut. Es ist halt keine Aldi- sondern Lindt Schokolade. Soll man dafür einen Punkt abziehen??? Mmmmhhhh, ich denke NEIN! Würde ich es wieder kaufen? Ja auf jeden Fall. Wer eine bittere Schokolade mit leichter süßen Note sucht, wird hier nicht nur fündig, sondern auch glücklich! Also kauft euch das Zeugs! :-)
