Excellent quality and size is perfect for fitting into my built-in wardrobe. The shoe rack is flat-packed so requires bit of work to put it together. Instructions warn of possible splinters when constructing but the detail of finished wood is so good that no splinters were found. Plenty of nuts and bolts are included as well as a wee spanner and allen key. Its a bit fiddly to construct but holes all matched and once a few bolts are put in, it was easy to work out best way to complete. As its use is for a wardrobe, not looking to sit on it, but it appears sturdy enough to do this if required. I managed to fit four pairs of shoes on each of the two lower shelves. Would definitely recommend.

This made up easily - everything that was needed in the way of tools was provided. It’s very sturdy and matched the beech cabinet next to it almost perfectly. I’m so pleased with it and would recommend it. Holds 3 pairs of ladies shoes on each shelf with room to spare.

We have two of these and are really happy with the quality and design. Smart, simple and strong, they are also very easy to construct and come with all the tools required. Easily put together by one person. Room for about 6 pairs of shoes on the shelves (unless you have little people) and useful top surface either as a seat or (as we use it) a place to stand your tea.

Mine had splitting on the top surface at one end and the joint wasn't flush (I managed to push the joint back in). Having said that, it is a nicely finished item which is well designed and fits together in a very sturdy way - everything lined up accurately! Seeing as the damage was only minor and I bought it on a daily deal, I decided not to complain.

This is an excellent shoe rack - made in Germany, so that's to be expected! It came securely packed in a large box with plenty of brown paper padding for protection, and was very easy to assemble with everything (bolts, screws, Allen key and spanner) provided. Looks very handsome in our porch, and wouldn't be out of place inside the house. Seems good and solid (although we haven't used it to sit on yet) and comfortably holds our walking boots and shoes. Remarkably good value for the price.

Been looking for the 'right' shoe rack for a while. Didn't think to look on Amazon. This is just what I was looking for. Looks great in my hallway next to my oak sideboard. Just about holds 6 pairs of trainers, more if you use the top as well (husband is a size 10). Found I had to have 1 pair on each shelf stick out a bit at an angle. Very good quality, very easy to put together & comes with all the fixings. Looks sturdy enough to sit on but not using it for this so didn't try. Delivery couldn't be quicker! Chose the free delivery option and got it the next day! Happy customer.

Bought a cheap plastic shoe rack and it could barely hold a pair a shoes without breaking. So I wanted something that was more sturdy and possibly had a bench if there was an affordable option. I have had this show bench for about 2 months and I can't complain. I have stood on it and sat on it with no issues. very sturdy and easy to build.
