Update: I’ve had these nearly two years with daily use and washing. They’ve even been through the dishwasher a few times. Absolutely no wearing or tearing. I still highly recommend them. Fantastic buy!Original: I had considered buying glass or metal straws but I am so glad I chose these.First impressions: They are wrapped in a recyclable paper bag, having been shipped in a paper envelope. No plastic at all from the moment you get them from the post -- not even tape. The straws are a lovely green colour and very nice, soft texture. Very cheery. They have a carrying bag and a bristle brush. I haven't really used the carrying bag.Use: There is no aftertaste at all. I didn't like silicone baking trays because they (to me) left an aftertaste in the food. But used cold, these are just fine. They are neither too big nor too small, so drinking from them is a pleasure -- both for my children (aged 2 to 12 years) and for myself.Cleaning: There is a skinny bristle brush included for you to use inside the straws, and that works fine. I tend to just soak mine in soapy water and then rinse them. I love that you can bend the neck to see that things are clean inside unlike the metal straws. I like that I don't worry about them breaking, unlike the glass ones. We have used and washed these every day for several months now and there's no sign of wear on them, which makes them superior to plastic straws.Overall, I give it five out of five stars. They are perfect. I will definitely keeping buying this particular brand. Love them! I reckon this is the future of drinking straws. Restaurants should have them and just charge people for them.

I bought these straws for my grandkids (and I have to admit for myself too as I'm a big kid at heart!). I got both colours - the green and purple and the orange and purple. The girls loved them and not just for drinking with! An elephant's trunk, a whistle and bug antennae were some of the things they turned into. No doubt they'll think of a whole bunch of things to use them for other than what they're supposed to be! (Although they did drink their juice with them in the end!)The silicone is soft and has a really nice texture to it and the straws are fairly large diameter - really good for extra thick smoothies. I love the little cleaning brush that comes with them. I also liked the pack they came in - a sturdy brown paper envelope with a winding string closure. I haven't seen that type of closure since I was a kid - it was a really nice touch and gave the whole thing a bit of an old-fashioned feel.As a bonus gift after purchase you get two free recipe eBooks for smoothies and drinks that you download from a follow up email. I particularly liked the one about the hot drinks as it had simple recipes for traditional spiced hot drinks such as Gluwein that sound really good and I will definitely be trying them out. The other ebook was smoothie recipes for health food addicts, full of every different type of smoothie flavour - enough there for the most discerning health junkie. It is full of information and contains a list of all the nutrients and vitamins contained in vegetable and fruit superfoods. A useful reference book if you are into fitness and staying well.I like the eco-friendly ethos of this company - why throw so many cheap plastic disposable straws into land fill? We can all do our little bit to help the environment with the things we buy (and they don't need to be boring either!).

The product is well made, looks good and arrived very nicely packaged. (would make a good gift). However, the experience of drinking through them was a bit disappointing - they're great for smoothies, but feel odd for standard softdrinks/cocktails.. I went back to using paper straws for those. This to me is dissapointing as i thought they would be an all rounder but the soft silicone just doesnt work with certain drinks and at their price-point i thought they would eliminate single use straws fully, which they havent.. As an added blow, my partner hates them and refuses to use them saying they feel weird.

My husband suffers essential tremor really badly and has to use a straw to drink with, He normally uses any type of the normal thin plastic straws but has stuck them into his lips many a time and they can leave a little cut. But now since i came across these silicone ones he thinks they are fantastic! He can now drink a cup of tea without poking himself in the face trying to get the straw into his mouth because they are so soft. Also being made for smoothies and such they are a lot wider than the thin straws so he can take a good gulp of tea now in one go instead of little sips. I certainly would advise anyone with a disability to purchase these straws as they are very safe and really have made a difference to my husbands drink of tea and i certainly will be spreading the word about these silicone straws! Best of all, i don't have to keep buying packets of plastic straws now with these being re-usable.

These are an excellent alternative to plastic straws. They came well packaged in a recyclable paper envelope with a cleaning brush. These green straws are perfect for thick drinks and smoothies. There is no taste of the straw and they are soft in the mouth, softer than their plastic relatives. Sucking through them takes the same amount of effort as their comparable plastic version.Cleaning is easy, with the enclosed brush and on inspection there was nothing left in the straw after a good rinse and a quick brush. It drys quickly as well. I would also recommend their smaller version for regular drinks.

I needed a straw urgently that could be used to drink my liquid meals. The straws have surpassed my expectations and they have made it so much easier to drink my Weetabix breakfast and soups. It's been easy to drink when my lips are currently sensitive. Also, it's good to know the straws are made from safe materials that can be reused and therefore environmentally friendly and easy to clean. Being so bendy is also another advantage as I can store the straw inside my bottle when going out.I have already recommended this item to others

Haben schon 2 Sets. Super für Kinder, da sie auch schön kurz sind. Bürste für Reinigung ist praktisch und auch auskochen halten sie aus.

Je suis entièrement satisfaite de ces pailles révolutionnaires. Elles correspondent parfaitement à ce que je souhaitais, soit, bien assez larges pour que mon fils puisse boire facilement sans perdre le souffle, et ce même les jus et yaourts à boire épais, lavables facilement avec les minis brosses fournies mais aussi passables au lave-vaisselle. Petit plus les pochettes de transports à glisser dans son sac quand on est dehors. Merci d’avoir créé ce produit !

Tutto come da titolo, utilissime per i bambini, quelle verdi e viola sono un po' più grandi delle standard in plastica usa e getta, ma per me è un vantaggio sia per lavarle meglio, sia perché possono essere utilizzate per frullati. Comunque esistono anche quelle gialle e viola, dello stesso produttore,, di diametro uguale alle cannucce usa e getta. In dotazione c'è uno spazzolino per il lavaggio ma basta un semplice risciacquo dopo l'uso e un ammollo in acqua saponata.

Comprate per i miei bambini che fanno colazione con le cannucce . Molto soddisfatta, sono facili da pulire perché dotate di spazzolino , i bambini le usano volentieri e finalmente abbiamo ridotto lo spreco di plastica .

Je souffre de parkinson et c'est dans ce but que j'ai acheté vos pailles qui me permettent de boire les boissons sans me faire mal grâce au silcone trés bonne alternative aux pailles en plastique qui vont être interdites bientôt ! Manque juste un peu plus de rigidité.
