N42 Neodymium Magnet for Arts, Crafts, Model Making, DIY, Hobbies, Office, and Home - 3mm dia x 2mm thick - 0.27kg Pull - Pack of 50

These small sized yet strong magnets are perfect for hobbyists doing 3D printing or other crafts. N42 although not the strongest available; still have an effective magnetic pull and usually cheaper to buy than the stronger ones. I have personally used them for attaching 3D printed attachments to my Valve Index VR headset. They are perfect for disconnecting sections that can easy be reattached or as locators to ensure things align correctly.

I bought these to hold together multi-section flutes made from craft resin, and while I've yet to build them into any, I'm impressed with the strength of them - they need to be small to fit into the flute walls, but they also need to be strong enough to hold things together while playing the instrument, and have enough extra strength to go on working for (hopefully) decades without any reduction in strength losing that functionality. The crowbar test told me everything I needed to know, while my older big magnets just lift straight off the bar as soon as I lift them. It'll be a long time before I know how long their strength lasts, but the starting point is fine, and I'll use twice as many for each join as are actually needed.

Needed some small magnets to replace lost magnet from screwdriver. Two of these fit in shaft beautifully and easily hold driving bits and screws. Added two more to extension piece with super glue for good measure. Not sure what to do with other 46 though, a smaller pack size option would have been better but not expensive. Tiny size great strength.

Not much to say really, The magnet-magnet pull strength is really strong for fixing bits and bobs together. I glued one is each corner of a phone case and use it to securely fix an old phone to the tank of my track bike for telemetry logging. So far they've survived many, many miles of 140mph+ speeds, heavy lateral loads under breaking without my phone pinging off. The magnets also do not affect mobile or GPS signal and do not affect the screen on my smart phone.

Very strong

Bought these to hold the lids onto my wooden pots when the fit is a bit too loose. Brilliant, but, as per the instructions, don't swallow them or give them to children. So strong and small that they are quite difficult to use, or my fingers are too big.

I love these things! They are tiny and cute and unlike regular magnets they don't cover up what I'm trying to display! I hold postcards to my fridge with one magnet in each corner though this is more for symmetry and so they don't get "doggy ears", one magnet by itself would definitely be enough to hold it. Will definitely buy more of these.

Tiny but serve a function. Size will make them too fiddly for some people. Useful if you want magnet to be least noticeable. In my case putting kids photos on fridge. In photo you can see it beside my previous magnet. Not strong enough for magnetic glass board.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesen kleinen N42 Neodym Magneten. Ich habe sie gekauft, um den Deckel eines selbst 3D Gedruckten Cases zu befestigen und sie haben perfekt funktioniert. Die Magnete sind stark genug, um den Deckel sicher zu halten, aber nicht so stark, dass sie den Deckel beschädigen oder das Öffnen unnötig erschweren würden. Die Qualität dieser Magnete ist hervorragend. Sie sind gut verarbeitet, gleichmäßig geformt und haben eine glatte Oberfläche. Ich hatte keine Probleme, sie in das Case einzusetzen und sie haben sich seitdem nicht bewegt oder gelöst.
