Beard Oil - Beard Conditioning Oil by Percy Nobleman - A Beard Softener and Deep Conditioner For Men (100ml)

So I have an extremely thick and coarse beard and have been looking for something to help tone it down and make it softer. I bought this based on reviews it had and overall I have found it works extremely well. I've found that my beard is softer and just more manageable than before. I've also found that it itches less than previously. I'm not the most careful with my beard and I've found using it in the evening before bed works the best for me. Depending on beard length (the shorter the less oil used) I will use 1 - 3 squirts. Normally I massage my cheeks with one squirt, then another squirt for my chin with a final half squirt for the mandible region and general overall beard. The oil I massage in the opposite direction of my beard to ensure that it goes into the roots. I finally comb my beard to smooth it out and go to sleep. The oil also feels great to use, there's no friction when rubbing into the beard. The oil works extremely well at softening the beard down, but it has to be used pretty much every day. If stopped for a slightly extended period of time then it will go back to normal and the process will be started again. Also, it takes about a few days for noticeable differences and has to be again maintained. Finally the smell is okay, it doesn't really smell of anything, but if I had to, I'd say it smells a bit like menthol, But I wasn't expecting a rosy smelling oil. Overall this is a really good product, it works in softening the beard and making it nice, soft and manageable *EDIT* So I've been using it a lot longer now, and found that when combing my beard I have a lot less beard dandruff, which is great since that really annoyed me.

I want to start by pointing out the excellent customer service attached to this product and the kitsch way in which some of the information is passed, the impassioned tale of Scruffy and Percy certainly gives it a lot of character. Having a used a few oils in the past I have to say it gives excellent results in an extremely easy to use format. The push top dispenser is excellent the brown glass will help to minimize UV damage of the oils and the labeling was clear and well thought out. It ease of use is a big plus to some of the many other oils available on the market. The oil its self applies nicely and gives a good soft finish, I was very pleased to see no coconut oil was used as while im not a ecco guy per say the thought of mass deforestation of the rain forest for the expansion of coconut plantations just for oil production doesnt sit too kindly with me. All in all I found it an excellent product and for the 100mil quantity exceptional value for money many oils costing £10+ for 30mil My one niggle and it is slight is while it doesn't state a fragrance in the item description it doesn't state the neutral fragrance either. Most oils run a 1%-2% inclusion of essential oils so if you arfter something to condition and make you smell nice the sweet almond scent which is most predominant might be a little lacking personally its not a big deal but it is a consideration for your purchase. For that slight niggle I don't think it valid to mark this product down as on the whole it is a fantastic and well thought out product so well worthy of my personal recommendation. I hope this review serves to help others and reassure Mr Percy and Scruffy on their product.

would highly recommend this product if you're in the process of growing out your manhood...(beard that is). I have relatively dry skin so I often use to get flakes in beard until I started using this conditioner. When I first started using it I was a bit skeptical as to if I was using it correctly as there is not that much info on the bottle on how to use it, but I recently had an email from the man himself giving full guidelines on how to apply it. Having a conditioned beard feels so much better and looks so much cleaner...also gets you lots of compliments from fellow face fuzz fanatics and the pretty ladies that love a good beard. The product also smells awesome, like a smokey wood sort of smell. The only thing I would say to make it more useful is just to add maybe a piece of paper with the product on how to apply properly. Other than that it's a top quality manly product to get your beard looking well groomed and to help you look like a sexual tyrannosaur.

What can I say??? If you have a big bushy beard and don't like trimming it but want it to look neat and tidy for those "important" times, if you have a beard that always feels wiry, tangled and unruly, if you also want to tame the curls on your moustache and more importantly if you are a SIKH then this oil is for you. This oil helped my curly beard stay smooth flat against my face (some of us Sikhs love that look but we always use hair spray to keep it flat, not very healthy with all those toxins or we use a glue like substance called Fixo...God knows what's in that!). It made/makes my beard soft. I've only been using it for 2 days and this is one of the first positive review I've written. Finally I can go out to social occasions and work with a slick looking beard. Neat, tidy smooth and soft. I've tried various brands, various waxes but I gotta say this has really worked. My beard is about 4-5 inches long at the bottom and out to the sides the hair grows about 2 inches. I followed the instructions, 1. washed the beard with Lush beard wash 2. dried it a little 3. used 2 drops in my hand and really massaged it in. (2 drops because of the length of the beard). combed it with the special comb or brush it with bristle brush What I do next is especially relevant to my fellow Sikh men. 3. I tied a taati which is basically a long cotton material which is roughly 3inches wide and about 2 foot long. I wrap this under my chin and have flat against the side of my face so presses the beard down and tie a knot on the top of my head. So basically it looks like my jaw is being held in place by a piece of cloth. 4. I keep it like that for about 20-30 mins allowing the previously damp beard dry a little. 5. Then i remove the cloth and voila! The beard is smooth and flat against my face. 6. Now the next bit is optional depending on what kind of look you require. I tied a knot in my beard and tucked it under my chin (A trick a lot of Sikh men use to tidy their beards and make it look shorter than it is) or you could keep it open. 6. The last thing I did is get some Percy Nobleman beard wax and carefully lightly rubbed it on my beard. This sealed it. However I got to say I did this on the second day. After the first day of sleep my beard was still in place! A note about moustache, I found it stayed in place when I combed it out to the side. It looks like it keeps the shape which was unexpected. I think the oil softens the hair so it's manageable. So I hope, if you are a Sikh or want a similar style on your beard then get this oil.

Very nice product; couldn't ask for more. Clearly all natural ingredients and actually appears to be homemade, which in this case is a good thing as Percy is proud of his product appears to care for each and every bottle he sends out. Only needs one-two sprays for my beard to keep it comfy and tidy. I would give it 5 stars but as a man who has to travel alot I have been carrying this around in it's box inside a toiletries bag in my duffle bag and the container the oil is held in isn't the sturdiest of things. About 1/4 of the bottle has leaked out from where the lid screws on and as a student at £21.50 it does hit me quite a bit. Having said that, If you kept this product on a shelf or it had a permanent place, this wouldn't be a problem but unfortunately for me I have to keep with my travels.. Not too sure what to do to prevent it from spilling!

With regular applications this oil will not only tame but soften the hairs of a gentleman's beard, thereby producing something that does not look as if a stray mongrel dog has taken up residence on one's face.” Before striking up a complaint against Jeeves description of his employers beard I paused and looked at the bottle in my hand once again. Time and again Jeeves had proven himself right in matters too many to mention. Outstanding Service and a great product! I have to start off with the customer service which was better than anything I have experienced before! The guys at F&M Cosmetics seem to either love their job, be genuinely nice business people or probably both. The order was fulfilled faster than expected (pretty much immediately after ordering) and I received a personalised email from the company advising me that the beard oil I had ordered was on its way. The email continued to provide advice on how to use the product once received and very helpful hints and tips. I responded with a query about the product to which a very friendly guy responded with a thank you for my interest and even more advice than I expected! As far as the product is concerned, I am not a beard or product expert so i didn't know what to expect. The oil is exactly as described, containing natural ingredients and even more great hits and tips included in the packaging. I have a brittle beard and my main problem was how messy and 'fluffy' it always looked resulting in me usually hesitating to let it grow too much. I knew not to expect a magic transformation but I was genuinely very pleasantly surprised! It isn't a magic formula but it does soften the beard up and help shape leaving no visible trace of any product used but a clean, neat, non oily and soft feeling & look. Exactly what anyone trying to grow and maintain a great beard needs! Finally, literarily a couple of drops are more than enough resulting in your minimal investment taking you a very long way! It is great that men are beginning to realise that shaving is unecessary and that beards can be made to look and feel great. There is an acute shortage of decent products to tame a beard. This is largely due to the way that companies promote shaving as a 'must' and ignore the fact that increasingly, men wish to look like....well.. men. These products Are worth a try and compare favourably with a lot of stuff on the market which other firms are trying to push. However the user (even one who has had a beard for many decades) will be on a learning curve. As with many grooming products, some may suit some people more than others. This conditioning oil is a mixture of argan oil from Morocco and mineral oil. Some, like me seem to get a problem with the mineral oil. As a user of pure argan oil bought directly from the co-operatives near Essaouira in Morocco, I had high hopes but it did not quite work out. HOWEVER, on providing initial feedback, Percy Nobleman invited me to try another product. by sending a tin of the beard balm - a product with no mineral oil. This complements the moustache wax marketed by the same company. See seperate reviews. These are very good products. It would certainly appear that Percy Nobleman has a great interest in providing what the customers need.
