Fine for the occasional DIY user.
Good signal strength meter. Seems to work OK once the "Chinglish" instruction sheet has been worked out. Freesat dish had moved and just needed re-alignment. Fine for the DIY user. Probably not robust enough for regular use.

Easy fine tuning of Sky dish using Viewi tuner
Excellent device. Great value and easy to use. The instructions were a little unclear but it is a simple procedure so that wasn't a problem. I had replaced an old rusty dish with a new one but despite matching the angles with the old one, some of the channels had stopped working. To tune the dish I slackened the nuts on the dish so they were firm but moveable. I then connected the short connection wire supplied to the LNB outer terminal (nearest the tip). The instructions didn't specify which of the two terminals to use but the end one worked fine. Once the device was connected the backlight came on and the device started making a sound showing it was detecting a signal. As the dish was moved the pitch changes and goes high when the strongest position is achieved. If it maxes out then you can turn down the pitch using the knob on the device and you can repeat until you get the perfect position. I did horisontal adjustment first and clamped the bolt tight, then repeated the process for the vertical adjustment. The only tool required was a 10mm spanner for my dish bolts.

Cheap and did the job
I actually thought moving coil meters were a thing of the (my) past. But it works ok and is truly analogue so it is possible to optimise the dish while looking at the meter. The tone was less useful to me but seemed to work too. I assume you can tweak the gain down just to the point where the tone is coming and going in situations where you can't see the meter.

Easy to use
Wet easy to use once you get the gist. Plug in inline at satellite dish and adjust db knob till it shows about 5-7 then move dish till the reading increases, if it goes off the scale adjust db knob till it’s back down to 5-7. Repeat steps till signal strength starts to drop off then you know you’ve got max signal. Definitely recommend this product.

Works ok but flimsy
Works ok but flimsy and therefore very fiddly to use

It just didn’t work!
I tried to use this to tune a new quad LNB to use for Freesat reception, on an existing dish that had worked well in the past. I carefully followed the instructions whilst up a ladder moving the LNB to get the best quality signal. However, the ‘best ‘position for the LNB as determined by this signal finder was a + 30 degree skew, whereas the actual skew for my area in the UK is -14 degrees. Unsurprisingly, the receiver could pick up no signal, so I disconnected the finder, and used the crude markings on the LNB to set the skew, and also manually moved the dish slightly - result, strong signal strength and quality.

Easy to use
Connected to dish and cable to fine tune satellite signal..worked really well and I could tell when the signal was at its highest point so tightened up the screws on the dish and retuned the receiver to get strong signal .good bit of kit, well worth the price..

Works perfectly !
Mine worked flawlessly Agree with other reviews look on YouTube for better guidance on how to use You must have the cable plugged into satellite receiver when using as it needs the 18v from the receiver to Power the meter I wonder if the negative reviews are because the device needs power and satellite receiver was not powered up ? I got 100% on both feeds and has been working for years now impressive for the price .
