Q: Does this box include the bait?

The bait is not included it is only the bait station.

Q: Hi, I know it dounds stupid but the key doesn't fit in the lock at all. The key hole is small and rectangular and the key is square.

You need to push the key into the square and turn 45' only to push apart the internal clip. Then pull and box lid should open. Turning key 90' or 180' is no good

Q: How do o erect the rat bait station

Just put it in line with the run the rats are taking. There is not a rod included to attach the bait, but one can be easily made from wood or a skewer. Just a quarter turn to open it. Don't be put off by the reviews that say it is difficult. Took about 10 days before rats started taking the bait, I put 4 blocks on a rod, then took about a week before it was all taken. Just put 4 more in so I will see how long before no more is taken.

Q: Does the rat get trapped in the box or leave after taking the bait ?

The rat eats the bait then goes back to the nest and croaks. If your lucky it gives some of the bait to it's friends. Make sure you use the best quality bait with peanut butter....they find it irresistible.
