Old food!
Got two packages of this mocha, which I normally get from Costco, they are normally fresh, taste lovely. This ones are old stock do not buy. They are dry and smaller and are almost rubber like. No refund on this product. Bought two and had stomach issues after eating this product. They are charging you twice the amount and selling terminated products.

A perfect gluten-free treat!
If you're into gluten-free goodies that pack a punch of flavor, you've gotta check this out! It has an awesome smell – like a mix of brown sugar and milk tea. It was like I was transported straight to my favorite bubble tea spot! Now, onto the good stuff – the mochi itself. It's soft, chewy, and just the right amount of stretchy. Seriously, each bite is like a little slice of heaven. And the flavor? Oh man, it's spot-on. You've got that perfect blend of sweet brown sugar and creamy milk tea goodness. What's really cool is that it's gluten-free, so you can snack without any worries. Whether you're gluten-sensitive like me or just looking for a tasty treat, this stuff hits the spot. Long story short, I'm hooked. The Tropical Fields Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea Mochi is officially my new go-to snack. Trust me, once you try it, you'll be hooked too! The only small issue is price!

I have purchased a similar, almost exact, product prior to this one, thinking they were one and the same. Both are displayed side by side in the picture. The quality and taste are different. The packaging of this purchase is darker in pigmentation, the rear of the bag is more transparent, and the actual protuct is larger and denser. Do to the different texture of the product it is not a pleasant mochi expirience at all. Actually it's really disgusting and off putting. I have had the other similar product for a longer period and both of the expiration dates have not yet come to pass, and yet the quality is significantly different. I would 0/10 recommend this particular purchase. If you come accross the smaller mochi, know it will be delicious.

I recently purchased a package of mochi from BR Distributions, and to say I was disappointed would be a massive understatement. The experience was akin to biting into a piece of rubber wrapped in disappointment. From the moment I opened the wrapper, I knew I was in for a letdown. The mochi looked unappetizing, lacking the soft, pillowy texture I was expecting. Instead, it was dry, dense, and utterly flavorless. Upon reluctantly taking a bite, I was met with a sensation reminiscent of chewing on a car tire. The lack of moisture made each mouthful feel like a punishment rather than a treat. The supposed delicate sweetness that mochi is known for was nowhere to be found. It was as if all the flavor had been sucked out, leaving behind a bland, tasteless blob. Hoping to salvage the situation, I reached out to customer service to request a refund, only to be met with sheer disappointment yet again. Despite providing ample evidence of the poor quality of the product, they refused to issue a refund, instead giving me 50 cents back as a "good will". Needless to say, I will never be purchasing anything from BR Distributions again, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of their mochi products. Save your taste buds the agony and opt for literally anything else. This was not just a disappointing purchase; it was a downright miserable experience from start to finish.

I didn't realize it was a 60 pack but after I tasted them I'm glad it was! It has a really nice texture and taste just like brown sugar boba! 100% recommend. I will say sometimes they come not so fresh and they are much more dense and chewy like a bread dough texture (not bad) they also have a little dry tag like part on the dough that is how you can tell they're older, if you get a fresh pack tho... AMAZING! they come extremely soft and squishy and have a darker color. The old ones still taste really good but nothing beats the fresh mochi texture.

I bought these because I enjoy mochi and was curious what a bobba milk tea tasted like. I figured this would be a good enough way to find out. It was not. The only good thing about this product I can say is that it's large and contains a lot of individual packets of "mochi". Think those extra large bags of bite sized candy you can get for Halloween. Unfortunately, it's all downhill from here. I put "mochi" in quotations because I hesitate to actually call it that. In my experience mochi has a texture slightly tougher than marshmallow, this had a texture like rubber or soft silicone and was tough and springy enough to resist getting squeezed. It tasted like rubber too, in that it barely had any taste at all. They weren't even sweet. There was also no actual difference in texture or taste between the "mochi", "filling", and "bobba pearl" layers. Worst of all though is it has some kind of powder over the surface that instantly coats your mouth with this awful film of chemical non-taste the second just one hits your tongue that took several drinks of water and a good brushing to get rid of. They were well within their expiration window and I tried several just to make sure I hadn't simply gotten one bad one. They also didn't have any visible sign of poor storage or spoiling that I could see. They just don't taste good. If you're on the fence about buying these I recommend a pass.
