It’s a life savvier as I have a monitor with two out ports. I have a HDMI and a DVI slot. I use the HDMI slot to view my CCTV camera and gaming while I use this DVI adapter to connect my Laptop to get the high resolution on my HD monitor screen.02 – (Reliable and Sturdy) Its built really nice and sturdy, not flimsy and the gold-plated heads I always go for as from experience gold plated heads last longer and always gave me a better performance than another device. This adapter gave great performance and high-quality resolutions.03 – (High Transmission Quality 1920x1200 and 1080p) As I used this adapter to connect my Laptop to the monitor, DVI always upscales the images to its highest quality therefore I always use the DVI for Laptop or HD Gaming performances. When I was searching around looking for good cost as well as a sturdy build quality adapter, I found this and after reading many reviews I placed the order for this item.07 – (6 months plus still going) It has been over 6 months and I am writing the review as I wanted others to know how great these 2 adapters have lasted and still going on. Great product, well built and that is why I have given these adapters 5 Star ratings.====================What could be improved:====================> Can’t find any faults love the product so much, if any improvements are as followings;01 – The two ends of each adapter are really tough and hard to screw. If you have nerve or finger damage it will be hard to screw or tighten these up. Nt much one can say about an adapter but it works perfectly and is nicely finished. It's keeping an old but high quality monitor alive!

It's pretty good, the gold plating is nice, but two gripes block a 5 star...The connect is very long so my HDMI cables stick out a little bit below the monitor. The pictures don't really show just how long it is.An L shaped HDMI cable would fix this but the point of this was not buying a new cable.The tightening screws don't spin freely and were really fiddly to do up as they don't have a lot of grip. Flathead screwdriver slot would have been ideal.

Got it same day as ordering thanks to prime. This is my second rankje product and so far they're both really good. Affordable, high quality, life time warranty, come well packaged. It makes an easy but very good fit on my DVI port, better than my past adapters and works wonders on my HDMI monitor, no complaints and I assume I won't have any issues in the future with it. I'm not sure why it's a 2 pack mind you but I'm not complaining, got another if the other breaks :D

These arrived in tear-away pouch and come with protective covers on both ends of the adapter. I've been using these with my laptop connected to a monitor at work and also for my monitor at home. The adaptors are very well made and I have had NO issues with image distortion or anything like that. Buying the adaptors has certainly saved me from having to buy a monitor with a HDMI connection as I can use my existing DELL monitors.A VGA to HDMI is also available for anyone that doesn't have a DVI monitor input.

It is very difficult to tighten the thumbscrews because they are thin and hard to grip. If you do manage to tighten them it is very hard to undo them again. I leave them loose, which works but may not provide the best contact.

Value for money

I was looking for a way of plugging a Raspberry Pi into my DVI monitor, so was in the market for an adaptor.For some reason finding an adaptor proved a bit trickier than expected. There were plenty of adaptors that allowed me to plug a DVI (female socket) into an HDMI (male) but none the other way round. Then this one appeared in my search.Postage was very quick. You receive two adaptors, so I now have one spare (for the PS3, maybe...?). Good quality adaptor - seems sturdy & compact. No problems so far and am happy with product! Would buy from them again.

Worked great, connected to my HDMI cable and to the older monitor. Can play and view movies on my PS5 without any issues!

Excelente producto. Cumple completamente con las expectativas y una vez conectado el monitor con este adaptador se olvida uno de él. No noto ninguna diferencia entre conectar el monitor con el cable normal, o con cable HDMI y el adaptador.El precio me parece bueno, y aparte vienen dos en el paquete, lo que es útil si se tiene un setup de doble monitor o se puede guardar por si uno o un conocido lo necesitará en el futuro, que es probable porque todavía circulan muchos monitores funcionales pero relativamente viejos sin puerto HDMI, sobre todo en oficinas.

works as expected

After a decade of purchasing items on Amazon, this item compelled me to leave my first ever review. This product was a LIFESAVER. I had been desperately trying for weeks to connect my old 2007 MacBook Pro (running Snow Leopard 10.6.8) to a 27 inch tv so I could edit my videos with Final Cut Studio 2 on a bigger screen. I had tried 3, I repeat, THREE, different adapters to connect the macbook’s dvi to the tv’s hdmi, and I was either purchasing the wrong adapter or ones that would not work. Well this worked flawlessly. I was also impressed by the weight which is heavy, making the product seem well built, and the combo of the gold and white (I chose the white color) looked very sophisticated. Also they gave me 2 of them! Can’t wait to purchase an old Mac Tower so I can use the second adapter! Hey Now! 5 out of 5!
