great sound, but a few usability issues
first up the negatives - as many previous people have said, why does the unit have to announce so loudly what it is doing, i'm pretty sure my neighbours don't need to know when i'm powering up or down these speakers yet the 100 decibel announcement that is issued whenever i connect or disconnect must annoy them so much. it shouldn't need pointing out that being in the same house as the unit during these announcements is even more irritating for me than it is for my neighbours. the charging socket seems pretty flimsy to me, i really don't have any confidence in it's longevity. The volume range: this might seem like a strange point to make but the quietest setting isn't very quiet. i have found i have to put it in another room if i want non-distracting background music, (like i'm working on my laptop) this is annoying when it's clear that the max sound is not just room filling but house filling. Could Marley not just adjust the volume range so that the Get Together Mini is suitable for general house use. Now the POSITIVES - The sound quality is the best i've heard from speakers this size, i listen to varied sounds from spoken word (Radio 4), rock, heavy bass, folk, wall of sound etc and it handles it all so well. No boomy bass, no tinny treble, but lovely rich sounds. oh the visual design is great, the wooden fascia and fabric surround aren't cheap looking or feeling, definitely looks better than any other speaker I've ever seen. Based solely on sound quality this speaker blows out of the park Bose and Sonos speakers of the same size. If Marley could resolve the silly other design flaws it'd be a 10 out of 10 product.

Great speaker
I bought this speaker for teaching fitness classes, the first one sent wouldn’t charge up properly unless you held the wire in position. So I returned it and they immediately refunded me & I re bought it as the sound quality is so good for my needs. It’s light weight , looks great & sounds fab.

Nice but not perfect
Nice looking speaker , good sound . Limited sound options and the usb c port is as dodgy as sone of the other reviews have said it feels like it's easy to break

Good value
This is a good sturdy speaker with good sound, happy with it.

Load of rubbish. Absolute con.
As many other reviewers have gladly pointed out, the speaker doesn’t charge. No amount of cable changes makes a difference. The charger port is quite obviously too big for the charger size and (literally) anything will fall out without any prompt. This will happen repeatedly and loudly, constantly interrupting your music with “CHARGING” every fifteen seconds. This speaker cost me £100 during a recession and I feel like i’ve been conned out of my hard earned money. Shame on anyone throwing the Marley label on a con.

The sound quality is OUTRAGEOUSLY good
This is genuine the best sounding Bluetooth speaker I’ve had and I’ve had a few; LG, UE, Sony, B&O, Denon, Monster………. The sound depth, bass, midrange and sheer power are ridiculous, especially given it’s size - it’s the mini version. For less than a ton, you won’t get anything else 50% as good as this; I’d have willingly paid more. No idea on battery life, as it’s on first charge, but it’s currently hammering out my mixed genre playlist with ease, on 40% volume.

OK, for the money, but that is it
OK speaker, but sadly the sales fluff and reviews cover for the fact that this is at best mediocre. Sure it does what is promised, plays, and can be loud etc. but not with much finesse nor depth to say bass. I have returned mine and gone for alternatives

THIS IS MY $10,000 STEREO SPEAKER SET! I COMPARES IN SOUND QUALITY TO MY PAST $10,000 STEREO SYSTEM! -- When hooked up to a laptop computer's output, I use the "Line In" cable for High Fidelity, then I use a lot of test music and out comes AUDIOPHILE GRADE QUALITY SOUND! YOU HAVE TO PLAY EXCELLENT RECORDED QUALITY MUSIC TO SEE THAT THIS PORTABLE SOUND BOX IS "AUDIOPHILE GRADE!" AND I HAVE "AUDIOPHILE GRADE EARS!" MY PAST MID - GRADE STEREO SYSTEM WAS A HAFLER IRIS PREAMP, ROTEL 50W HIGH CURRENT POWER AMP, NAD 502 CD PLAYER, NAKAMICHI 2 HEAD TAPE DECK, PROTON MODEL 740 DBX TAPE DECK, A LEXICON CP1, + OTHER STUFF... I HAD CELESTION 3 SPEAKERS, AS WELL AS NHT SPEAKERS THAT I GOT FROM WORKING AT INTERNATIONAL JENSEN. The sound quality of this soundbox is probably a good range of 60 hz to 20,000 hz. It gives great detail and excellent vocal sound quality, especially to the female voice. Just test this with a good youtube recording of "Ave Maria de Schubert," or a good recording of "Taylor Swift - Welcome to New York (live at 1989 Secret Session with iHeartradio)" The midrange is well balanced, too. In theory, an excellent audiophile grade sound system does not need a graphic equalizer to adjust the sound. Well, this soundbox needs no graphic equalizer sound adjustment, either. Just add an appropriate subwoofer with adjust low end crossover point and level and then you'd have a quick Audiophile Grade Loudspeaker System!
