I have the DIO1 & DIO2 gene mutation, which means I don't convert T4 into T3 very well. Despite this, the doctor prescribed T4 only Levothyroxine. I take 2 capsules of T-convert & my conversion rate from t4 to T3 is good. My T3 stays in the top quarter of the range, which is optimal.

T-Convert is formulated to support the thyroid, and so named because it helps convert T3 to T4. It’s herbal medicine, and not a product of the pharma industry.The main ingredient is guggul gum, from the sap of the commiphora mukul tree. Added to this gum are selenium, magnesium, zinc and copper which also support healthy thyroid function and hormonal conversion.My “other half” takes T-Convert to support her thyroid deficiency. A few years ago, she was able to stop taking medical thyroxin. We don’t know if the T-Convert was solely responsible or if it’s one of the factors which, combined with others, led to the improvement. The science is inconclusive, but compelling.Guggul BTW is used in ayurvedic medicine to lower cholesterol, reduce skin swelling and treat acne. As with all herbal medicines, although no formal prescription is needed they are best taken on the direction of a qualified medical herbalist who will determine the precise dosage and monitor the physiological changes over time.

These tablets do what they say and are very potent. Noticed a change in my energy levels very quickly. Can't take on an empty stomach as I would throw up, but after food it is all good!

Balancing your thyroid if the prescribed meds don't do the job can be a very tricky business. However, after a lot of experimentation, I can say that these definitely improve my energy. I was denied T3 after it was prescribed by a NHS endocrinologist, in a tiny dosage. In desperation, I tried these, along with Nutri Thyroid and Nutri Adrenal (I know, all the one brand, and I'm not even on the payroll) and I can say that there has been an improvement and it has been fairly steady. I still don't feel like I did before I got the condition, but I have more energy, also have lost a little weight.
