A great alternative to the more expensive LED light strips with integrated controller and very few customisation options. I installed this LED strip behind my monitor to serve as ambience lighting in my home office. · All LED elements are functioning perfectly. They are bright (as expected for 5050 style LEDs) and distribute the same brightness and colour tone throughout the band – I didn’t notice any uniformity issues. The data for colour changing & brightness is very effective, producing a professional output with a good controller! · Extremely good adhesion on the smooth plastic that I cleaned with an alcohol wipe. · It comes with 3pin JST-SM connectors on both ends, which means that these can be chained together by connecting the male connector of one strip to the female connector of other. Once connected they are logically one big strip and power and data fed into the first strip is sent to the second strip as well without any additional wiring. ⓘ Note that: · If you don't plan to cut the strip - just make sure you plan the length out correctly before you begin sticking it, otherwise you have to remove it and the adhesive won't be as strong. · If you solder the strip, make sure to solder following the direction of arrow – so it will work perfectly. · This product DOES NOT include the power supply and controller - required to light up the light strip. Read the product details carefully and see the product images - there you will also find the list of compatible controllers. · Be sure to get enough power to the lights or you will notice discolouration/brightness decrease towards the end if the voltage starts dropping. The strip only supports DC12V (don’t use DC5V – it is not enough, nor DC24V – it will fry the light strip). · Good adhesion requires a clean surface. Make sure to clean the surface well, and most likely with an alcohol wipe so that the adhesive tape sticks nicely to the surface. ✔ Pros: + Highly customisable + Tons of vibrant and bright colours + Individually Addressable LEDs + Great adhesion ✖ Cons: - No complaints! ( I will update this post if any quality issues arise ) I have had it for 1 month and it shows no signs of defects or poor quality. It is also a nice upgrade if you're a gamer and just want to mod your setup, or make it match the RGB on your PC. Definitely recommended!

Great item. Fitted to a sensor going up the stairs and the are Great lights and lots of colours to choose from. Only down side is the sticky is not very sticky but it's seems to be the same on all LED strip lights

Good value LED strip. There are 300 LED's grouped into threes with 100 WS2811 controlling each group of three. The strip works great driven by an Arduino nano using the FastLED library. One slight issue is the strip is configured as Blue/Red/Green which caused a bit of head scratching. The normal order for the library is Red/Green/Blue, so the colours were initially wrong. The LED strip lights up nice and bright. You will need a separate 6amp 12v power supply to fully drive all the LEDs, it won't light using the 5v from the Arduino. Plug in connectors are fitted at both ends to allow easy chaining of multiple strips, but I would recommend a separate 12v supply fed directly to each strip, extra wires from the strips are there for this purpose.

The lights are always going to be good with the type that they are but the quality of the adhesive on the back was not enough to keep them attached to a flat surface.

Used to create a TV backlight, connected to an ESP32 and controlled via WLED. Performed as expected, and the adhesive backing was perfect for mounting to the plastic back surface of the tv

The lights work well so far but one important point not made clear is that these are NOT individually addressable LEDs. The LEDs are addressable but if you address LED #1, LEDs 1, 2 and 3 all light with the same colour and brightness. For my application this is ok but if you are looking for 300 addressable LEDs on a 5m strip you need to look elsewhere.

Pour un projet photographique j’ai besoin d’un ruban led adressables individuellement. Je regarde un peu comment fonctionnent les ruban et je trouve que qu’il me faut : des leds WS2812. Aprés recherche, je tombe sur ce ruban qui me semble intéressant :BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B 1m 60leds flexible individuellement adressable bande couleur rêve non-étanche DC5V PCB noir Commande passée à Amazon, livré 2 jours plus tard, produit dans un petit carton et contenu dans un emballage le protégeant de l’humidité. Je le déballe, contenu conforme à la description, je trouve un ruban à LED 1 mètre IP30 60LEDs WS2812B et un connecteur mâle 1x3pin. Je connecte ce ruban à mon petit arduino et une alimentation 5v/3A … je déverse un programme pour tester …. et là … super tout fonctionne très bien. Tel que décrit chaque led est adressable individuellement, vous avec un aperçu de quelques effets sur la vidéo. Par contre, avant de brancher faites bien attention, il n’y a pas de notice, mais il est bien indiqué sur Amazon dans la description : utilisez une tension de DC5V. Au-dessus de 5 V le détruira J’ai pu intégrer ces led à mon installation photo, dans des profilés aluminium … mon mirrorbooth est maintenant terminé. Autre point positif, en cas de doutes ou de questions, la société répond rapidement, ce qui est remarquable.
