Really good for the money. Motor is loud though so you will be switching it off all the time

Massive hit at Christmas, this was brought as a move up from Lego for our nine year old and he is very happy - will be getting more of the set!

Good price but really hard to build track would not suggest a child could do this alone took a child and at least 3 adults to have a go

Ordered this for my 9 year old daughter. It took a while to put together, she is quite competent but she couldn't have done it on her own as it's quite tricky as she's never used k'nex before. My Husband and I helped her and had fun putting it together. Its brill when it's running and did glow in the dark. Its quite large so we took it apart after a few days but I think it's worth the price.

Impressive structure, my kids couldn't wait to build it on Christmas day and the roller coaster truck is fast and furious, really flies around the track.Quite pricey however initially it seemed worth it but it has proved to be pretty much a one trick pony and they haven't really played with it again since the first day after the initial excitement of the build etc wore off.

we all enjoyed watching my 30s son make this for his less than 10 daughter - when it was made it was really good

It was a pricey birthday gift for a 9 year old boy who is a whiz at LEGO.Loved the bright colours.Very disappointed and frustrating that for over $200.00 there were 4 pieces missing. My husband is an engineer so rather than box the whole set up and return it he ‘made it work. ‘ It seems to be holding , fingers crossed.Tough to say whether I would recommend this set. I opened the box( which arrived a bit damaged , the post office taped the corner) to make sure the set was in tact and it did not look as though it was a recycled return. However the missing pieces were a pain in the neck but probably was a mistake at the factory. So I think for the price I would choose LEGO next time as I’ve never had this happen with the many, many sets I have purchased.Our grandson does love it which is most important. And it is very cool.

I bought this for the kids and I to build to together and ended up building the whole thing myself because it was kind of a tough build for the kids to follow. That was okay because I personally love building things. First note is it's very big, and for that reason, I like that it stands up tall because it takes up less floor space that way. After we got it together, we turned it on, and the cart moves FAST, way faster than I was expecting. My 6-year-old son was amazed and yelled "Whoa!!! Whoa!!! How are we going to turn this thing off?!?!" haha. Luckily, the cart is really light so it doesn't hurt when you stick a hand in front of it to stop it. You can also easily move the coaster from standing straight up to horizontal without having to change anything, which was a pleasant surprise. It was a hit with the family.
