Comprehensive; Nice to have with you.
Just the ticket for those starting out like us lightweights after being bitten by the TV antique shows bug. Comprehensive listing of ceramic marks (our 'thing') Brilliant for silver, gold and glass too and its teeny size means it's no carriage to have with you on your travels. The order takes a bit of getting used to but it has a good index. All in all, a good starter reference.

Excellent little book
Handy pocket size, great for taking with you when looking at antiques. Covers a wide range of silver and pottery marks, as well as glass, costume jewellery and toys. Good quality pictures and history of manufacturers.

good book but not the best
good book but not the best, I was expecting alot more, dont get me wrong it does have some good qualities ( many hallmarks ) but not all of them, so if you do buy this & cant find the hallmark just do as i did & look elsewhere

Bien pero es demasiado corto, por poner un ejemplo en cerámica China solo contiene apenas 6 marcas, y luego de la inglesa tiene 100, cuando realmente es más importante y abundante la china, y lo mismo pasa con todas las secciones, plata Española solo hay 3 marcas, plata inglesa Más de 100, creo que es un libro de ayuda para los coleccionistas ingleses poco más. Las descripciones son pobres y sin ningún tipo de referencia. No recomiendo este producto

I like the full context of information of any kind of makers marks. Since my compsny is focused on recycled jewelry snd the selling of vintage jewelry, I was expecting the book to focus primarily on jewelers/makers symbols. The information, in the whole, is great for people who collect vintage items.
