Super GPS Watch!
Took me a bit of while to write this. But I am soo very happy with this watch that I was compelled to write this review. The only thing that I can complain about is the fit, its because of the GPS knob. But, even thats ignored considering the accuracy, instantaneous gps reception and the alien look factor 🤣I skipped the expensive ambit3 and garmins for these reasons..1. Got an excellent deal from the seller Nomlad322. I didn't care about the smart watch & bluetooth connectivity feature (whatever you do is eventually planned, and PC is a better place to do that) also I believe that changing settings via phone feature makes you mess with the settings more rather than using it.3. Amazing battery backup, super for ultra milers. It surely won't ditch you mid-way like a garmin.4. Minimalistic and bang on watch Interface.5. Sturdy, built like a tank!! Its calling you for an adventure.Absolutely loving my watch :)Hope this review helps :)

Perfect multi-sports watch
The functionality of the watch is better than I expected. So far, I have used only running software in my pocket computer which resulted in poor GPS performance since I was wearing it in only my waist belt and not at the shoulder. But with Ambit2 the GPS performance is perfect. I am also surprised by the battery life for one charging cycle - very good. And I have to say that I like the Movescount - it is easy to register, connect, set up and browse. What I really like is that if I do not use my watch I can include my basic training data - sport, length and time - easily by myself. The only issue is that I don't know how to modify the settings of my watch via the Moveslink user interface. I want to put my favourite sports (inline and ice skating, trail running and hiking) into the main menu. But I hope I will make it once I will have enough time to investigate it.

Ottimo acquisto
Robusto completo preciso e versatile. E' uno strumento sicuramente per persone molto esigenti con un prezzo adeguato alle prestazioni. Unico neo da me riscontrato è la misurazione della temperatura per la quale bisogna levarselo.

Good If You Have the Money
I was looking for a good outdoor sports watch. The Suunto brand popped up in some online guides; and that was the first time I have heard of Suunto. I decided to try this brand out. I had this watch for about 3 and a half years; and it's still going strong.PROS:A lot of featuresFeels well-builtLong battery lifeGPS locates you pretty quicklyThe digital compass was extremely accurate when compared with an analog compass.Creating routes for the watch is useful; and I don’t see myself getting lost. Can choose what fields (like current heart rate, speed, altitude, etc.) you want to see for each exerciseCONS:ExpensiveThe watch and its strap do not ergonomically fit my small wrist. So when I use it for a long time (like over an hour) I would get some very minor bruises on my wrist. On some very rare occasions, the altimeter/barometer either didn't work or went haywire. You can upload your data to the movescount website. But what if you want to backup or export all of your “moves” (aka your workouts) to say, xls, with one click? No can do. You’ll need to export each move one by one which is a hassle. There are rare occasions where the moveslink program is buggy. You can’t wirelessly upload your watch data to the computer.I am not satisfied with Suunto's customer service. I ordered another heart rate belt from the Suunto website, and a couple of weeks later I never received it. I sent an email to them for a reminder. But I still haven't received the heart rate belt.

Great while it worked
I absolutely love (d) this watch. Stylish design. Loaded with features that met my needs, including swim/run/bike functions.Purchased mid October 2013...now 6 months later the screen has died. Too late to return/repair via Amazon and I cannot find any local authorized dealers in Costa Rica where I now live. This watch has never been dropped or hit against anything of consequence. No exposure to extreme temperatures or sudden and drastic changes in temperature or pressure. Exposure to water limited to daily shower, pool swims on average of 2 per week, and maybe 3 weekend excursions into salt water at the beach.Very disappointed and at a loss as to what my options are now. Will cost me almost the same as a new watch to send the watch in for repair to U.S. via an insured carrier like FedEx or DHL, and pay import taxes when it comes back to Costa Rica.
