Marvellous
Well there's coconut oil and then there's coconut oil! This stuff is the latter: a very superior, luxurious product. One of nature's best kept secrets. As the leaflet that comes with it states, it has many uses. My interest personally was not in using it to cook with, but to use as a skin moisturiser and, wait for it, especially for intimate lubrication (yes: latter is recommended by many women's health sites and is indeed mentioned in the supplier's leaflet that comes with the product too, so it's not something weird that I am doing!).I'm mentioning this use as if you are sensitive to the many vaginal lubricants out there, (including the so called more 'natural' ones) this coconoil is a must!Unlike some other natural oils sometimes also used for this purpose that can upset the natural balance of the vagina, coconoil has protective properties that make any possible irritation very unlikely. I have found it to be fine and I have multiple sensitivities to most products used 'down below'!Its wonderful as a daily general skin moisturiser for body/face/lips, as a general vaginal moisturiser for the external area if you are sore/dry 'down there' (e.g menopause symtoms) and as a sexual lubricant for both partners during actual intimacy. A little of the product goes a long way so it is quite economical in use. (Just make sure that you apply it in it's oily state, not in solid lumps or anything silly!! See below!).As other people have mentioned, it's consistency does change from solid/semisolid/liquid depending on the room temperature. I am therefore keeping one pot in the airing cuboard (so semi solid for being ready for those intmate moments!) and will be buying another pot for general moisturising. Because of how I use it, I bought the organic product as I thought top notch quality best for topical application! When the consistency is solid, you can still access it okay: you just need a clean teaspoon for example, to chip out a flake ot two, then rub it in your hands to warm it up and it quickly melts to a lovely rich oily consistancy for use.Soaks in well so you are not left with any sticky residue when you use the right amount - less is more as they say.And isn't it good to know that it is possible to to buy such a top notch product that is also ethically sourced, etc. Brilliant. Can't recommend it highy enough. Delivery was very quick and good packaging.

Fantastic product
I first bought this on the recommendation of a diet and fitness advisor, but have now subscribed for regular deliveries on Amazon to save money, because I will definitely be getting through this on a regular basis. The flavour and smell of this oil is so delicious I'm tempted to use it as a lip balm and the high burning point means you're much less likely to end up with a smoky kitchen or that horrible overheated oil taste to your food. My one complaint is that it's still a bit on the pricey side, but it is a top quality product and a little goes a long way.

Multi-talented Coconoil!
I love coconut oil. Firstly - its fab for cooking. I use it in stirfry, thai dishes and other dishes too, it really versatile stuff. Tastes great and I hear that it doesn't change molecular structure when heated so it's easier for the body to digest too? You may want to research into that yourself! I also use coconut oil when abroad as an insect repellant. It is natural and works surprisingly well. Plus it doesn't smell horrid like some other insect repellants! When I say it works well, I have used it throughout India, South East Asia and Australia in areas where mosquitoes are rife. It's not failsafe - but I find it better for me than other products - especially if you keep on applying it throughout the evening and put it on before dusk! It is also very soothing if you do get bitten. I also use it as moisturiser in the sunshine. I don't stay out in the sun much as I don't use suncream (too many chemicals) but coconut oil is another good answer that I have found for me personally so my skin doesn't dry out. I couldn't recommend coconut oil more highly - especially if you're a traveller :)

Seems ok
Lots of hype surrounding this product. I use it as a hair oil and it seems ok, nice smell if yo like coconut. Haven't tried eating it or such so can't comment on what it tastes like. I would be wary anyway as it is a fat although apparently "healthy" for you.Only thing I don't like is in this hot weather I have to keep it in the fridge as it literally melts into a liquid. This make sit somewhat difficult to apply but it can be scraped like cold butter and you don't seem to need a lot.Worth a try.

Horrible chemical taste!
I have been using organic extra virgin raw coconut products for some time. All the products I have previously purchased were in a glass jar, however due to excellent ratings I decided to risk it and see if this was any good.I take my coconut oil straight up by spoonful and use for pulling, however as soon as I took a spoonful of this stuff - I had to spit out.Although it does have coconutty smell and flavour there is this nasty chemical plastic taste to this. Absolutely incomparable to other virgin coconut oils I have had. Perhaps its due to the plastic container, but I am very very dissapointed and would not put this stuff nowhere near my mouth. I established it is ok to use as hand moisturiser (wouldnt put it on my body or hair either).Guess I will be sticking with Biona or Tiana brands that I find excellent.
