Really easy and mess free, albeit more expensive.
The ease of use of this product comes at a cost compared to a normal bag of pre ground bags. I weighed 1 coffee bag, and it came out at roughly 8 grams (albeit with old and maybe not so reliable scales) with 30 bags means you are getting roughly 240g coffee total for £8.25; you can get a 227g bag of Taylors grounds from Asda for around £4. So its almost double the price for around the same amount of coffee grounds. Even at this cost comparison I am still satisfied. I have to get up at around 5am for work and its so easy to just drop a bag in some boiling water then go brush my teeth and come back to a coffee, in comparison to setting up, decanting and cleaning a cafetiere/aeropress. I wont comment much on flavour as that's personal preference, although hot lava java is my favourite as I find the coffee tastes more robust, hearty and deep. Going back price, these coffee bags work out 28p each for 30, which is enough for 1 a day per month pretty much. I can live with the price considering buying a coffee is much more expensive and that the amount of hassle that is avoided by using them. I will be buying more of these in the future.

Delicious but weak
This is a lovely coffee but as others have previously mentioned it is very weak. Definitely not strong enough for a full mug no matter how long you let it sit (obviously some folk like weaker coffee). I find it best for half to three quarters of a mug. I have stopped buying it now as the price on Amazon has risen by over two pounds in the last two months and I can now get it cheaper at my local supermarket. Try it, you'll like it !

Convenient, flavourful and not expensive!
I was gifted a couple of packs of these then looked them up on Amazon. Total game changer having coffee in a bag. They have probably been around for years but I’ve only started drinking coffee. Convenient, flavourful and not expensive! I will definitely be purchasing these again.

Rich Coffee Aroma.
Arrived well boxed, ideal sized container to hold the boxes of coffee. This was my first taste of coffee in bags, thought I'd try them out. I love my coffee, strong, black and rich in flavour. Opted for these (Number 6), was pleasantly surprised by them. Easy to use, have a good aroma, not as strong as I like my coffee, but nearly there. They are large sized bags, so you get a full mug of coffee, temp I used was 90c, as I use a kettle that boils to idea temps for tea/coffee. These do have a wonderful flavour, ideal to take to work, or on outings, just need hot water. Shall buy again, gave a pack to my sister, she loves them. Price was fine, buying more for sure. Try another levels too.

Best cuppa bag since sliced bread (tea excepted)!
As a die hard tea drinker/grower of strong *quality* teas loose and tea bag, and a less ardent a coffee drinker (preferring a mellower rounded, not acidic or ultra strong coffee... more Vietnamese or Yunan style), I love the soothing general taste of all these Taylors of Harrogate "coffee bags" at about 35 p a bag (reasonably priced in amazon). Much nicer than Nescafe. The smell when you open these bags is lovely too. Ideal cuppa and conveniently baggy! Impossible to get outside the UK.

Delicious coffee, far better than instant!

Arrived fairly quickly despite it originating in the UK. Instant coffee is much more common in Europe which may account for how tasty this product is. Less expensive than most US steeped coffee bags, it still delivers more flavor in a shorter amount of time. I'll definitely buy again.

We are US dwellers who encountered these coffee bags in a Welsh grocery store during a trip there. We loved Hot Lava Java so much we keep ordering it for future travels even though it's pricey for us over here. We love dark roast that doesn't taste burned, and find this the best instant coffee we've ever had. Plus the instructions are really cute.

Excellent beverage; considering it steeps in a bag; full bodied; full flavored; relatively strong.
