Excellent 3 channel mixer at an affordable price
Bought this to replace my Newmark mixer which was 30 years old. This mixer is easy to use and has a facility to use 3 phono's, which is great for me as I do 3 deck mixing, it has crystal clear sound quality and has plenty of inputs and outputs for various devises. Also when using the headphones it has clear sound and enough volume to enable you to cue your music up comfortably I recommend this mixer.

The Gemini PS626 reborn
The Gemini PS626 was without doubt the daddy of the 3-chan mixers. When my old man asked me for advice for a mixer, I proclaimed the Gemini 626. Since Gemini is now the Behringer brand I was suspicious that the design and quality was sacrificed. It doesn't look the same, but the quality is still there; the faders are nice and loose, especially the cross-fade.The EQ does what it's supposed to, and the gain is substantial. My only complaint was the inclusion of a stupid BPM monitor. Real DJs don't care about that. If you have 2 turntables and want to mix then this is perfect. Drop in a CD player (or laptop if needs be), switch to line and you're on. In a nutshell, if you remember the Gemini PS626 then this is the PS626 reborn.

The BPM counters are next to useless.
This review is for BEHRINGER PRO MIXER DX626 CHECK IN THE TITLE WHICH MIXER THE REVIEW IS FOR AS BEHRINGER HAS INCLUDED ALL THEIR MIXERS IN ONE REVIEW LIST. The mixer seems well made, however the BPM counters are as much use as a chocolate tea pot. These counters are the major selling point over other mixers on the market, but they don't work. They just churn out random numbers with no connection to the music being played. I wanted a refund but was out of Amazon's 30 day returns policy. Also Behringer are useless with their customer support. You can't speak to them directly, you have to post faults or questions on Music Tribe website, which is also useless. Update: I first put in a request for a replacement unit or refund back in May. Behringer are completely useless, as is Music Tribe. Still no further with my refund or a replacement mixer. I would advise anyone to stear clear of this mixer and possibly Behringer as a brand, as their after sales service is abysmal.

Pretty good for the price - but READ for improvements!
This mixer was bought as a (cheap) sub, for my Vestax mixer, which has stopped working - I assume it may be fixable.....but in the mean time, here are a few hints. 1. For Turntables, you need to use channels 2 and 3 for the crossfader to work. 2. I like that it has a Bass, Mix and Treble pot. 3. For the really DUMB people (as I've seen a few past reviews) you do need to 'earth' your turntable to the mixer - there will be trailing wires with a U connector, you need to connect to the brass screws above the phono connectors. 4. Negative point - I don't like there is no 'Cross-Fade' mix curve option on this one. 5. Negative point - the BPM meter's are useless - but I knew that anyway. Conclusion - worth a go - but please Behringer, replace the BPM meter, with a cross-fade mix curve instead. Cannot comment on how long this will last, but my Vestax lasted 25 years......

Really good for the price
great value. ideal for anyone who needs a mixer. i was prepared to be disappointed because it was only £100 and i wasnt really expecting much but after testing it last night im impressed. a great option if you want to mix and cant afford a premium mixer. get this and you can save up and eventually get a really good one if you want to.

This was great and I loved it while doing a few mixes
This was great and I loved it while doing a few mixes. I wasn't until I was doing a longer session that I noticed something. When the crossfader is all the way over, say to channel 2, it gives out 100% of that channel. but when the cross fader is right in the middle the volume cuts to around 85-90%... What this means in a DJ perspective is that when 2 tracks are being mixed at the same volume, the overall output volume is reduced. Now, this could be a design flaw or my unit could have had a faulty crossfader. As for build quality, ease of use, and functionality. It's very very good. The Beat counters do a better than average job, a lot better than my old Behringer mixer from yesteryear. One thing I will point out is that sometimes they do not know the difference between say, 74bpm or 148bpm. I'm giving it the rating I have because if it the crossfader is designed that way then it gets 1 star. If mine has just a one off bad crossfader then with a fully working one, this mixer really deserves 5 stars.

All round excellent purchase.
I am stunned at the sound quality and clarity of this mixer for the price tag! The option of 3 channels for my style of mixing is also ideal and having multiple outputs makes this suitable for club use, bedroom dj'ing and recording. The casing is solid metal, the faders feel soft but robust and the mixer feels very well made. All round excellent purchase.

I use this mixer for my mike and music in my Blogtv show. I take my Itunes audio on my line out on my computer and feed it into channel 2 I hooked my mic up to channel 1 and I use channel three for any other audio signals that I need to mix in. I than run the master out into the line in on my computer and I send the line in out to the world wide web. this produces fantastic sound clear voice and with one button you can mute both channel 2 and 3 so that just the mic is heard. The product is easy to set up and use even me a complete novice was able to get it up and running. I can't think of any negatives about this product except maybe the price.

Really bad cheap quality. Feels really cheap. The right channel was defective (heavy static noise). The unit that was shipped to me by Amazon was already a returned item by the look of the package and the item itself. Do not buy.
