Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.50GHz Processor

Bought this little processor for my sister's PC. She wanted an inexpensive upgrade. I recommended this. It works excellently. The PC is more responsive and she can do more photo editing. Highly recommended.

Processes stuff like crazy, almost as if it was made for it! Installs easy, has worked perfectly (knock on rack) in a server for 2.5 years.

Cheap & effective. I got 2 plugged into old optiplex 380's.

Could not get this to work. Must have gotten a bad one. Problem is, by the time I put it in, I couldn't return it. Wasted my money.

Upgrading processors on LGA775 socket, from a Intel Core2 Duo E6550 running @2.33GHz to a Intel Core2 Quad Q9300 running @2.5GHz, has been satisfying but not really what expected. Response is quicker but overall performance isn't that noticeable to say it's excellent. There's an improvement, but I thought it was going to be a bigger one. The most important thing is that the new processor is running really fine!

Dual cores are pretty much finished. Breath some life into your computer with an affordable upgrade. 2 extra cores go a LONG way even if the freq. is lower. I used this for an old 775 setup turned frag-box. With the Cooler Master 212 cooler I can't even break 60 deg Celsius. I use its older brother, q9550, in my main computer and both the chips are solid, stable and fast. Get this while it's going out of style and cheap!

Had old computer for kids using an intel core 2 duo 6570 in socket 775. The q9300 was expensive (top of the line) when it was first released, but has siginicantly dropped in price. Swapped processor out, systems back up and running again. At first kids did not notice a difference, then i pointed out that lag from games (SWTOR) was gone. Still some lag on network side, but now processor not the issue. Best upgrade would to be a brand new computer. But for the price, upgrading the procesor was a dramatic upgrade

Diese CPU hat eine sehr gute Leistung und kann locker mit neueren Modellen mithalten. Besonders für Spieler sollte diese CPU ein gutes Angebot sein. Die meisten aktuellen Spiele, wie etwa the Crew gehen mit einer leistungsstarken Grafikkarte auf den höchsten Einstellungen. Das einzige was man beanstanden könnte ist, dass man diese CPU schlecht übertakten kann...

This is an older chip, and one of the slowest in the line. That said, it is a good upgrade from a Core 2 Duo - a full four cores. This chip does overclock fairly well, though the lower clock multiplier does limit it some. I went from the base 2.5 GHz up to 3.3 GHz with no problems. A great chip if gotten for a reasonable price (I took the used one at $24.)

Ich hatte vorher den Dual Core E7300, welcher eigentlich die selbe CPU ist nur mit 2 Kernen. Aber ich brauchte jetzt doch einen Vier Kerner. Wollte aber nicht meine komplette Hardware updaten. Musste also einen für den Sockel 775 finden und da hat sich dieser für 100 € gebraucht von Amazon angeboten. Läuft bei mir stabil auf 3,29Ghz
