Saved my clothes!
Due to a washing machine malfunction, my clothes were washed higher than 40 and caused the dye from my jeans to run, discolouring the rest of the wash. I used both the packets that came in the box and got the original colours of most of my clothes back, with fabrics of wool and cotton. I think some items were more heavily dyed more than others and you can still see slight discolouration but I could always buy another box and try again. I recommend this to anyone who has been in a similar situation.

Partially effective
I used these sachets after a red dye colour run accident. They did help, but I also needed to soak the items in peroxide bleach and re wash several times before the last traces faded. I think it depends on the dye colour and fabrics how well they work. Definitely worth having a pack in the cupboard for emergencies. Very easy to use, in the washing machine or soak in a bucket, and haven’t affected the colour of decorations on the items.

This worked for me.
The pictures show a t-towel with the full effects of the burgundy colour run. I didn’t bother to treat that as it was an old t-towel. The other photos show a yellow shirt which was in the same state as the t-towel, after I used the dye remover. The close up photo shows a tiny very faint amount of dye that still remains but you have to look very closely to see it. I used 2 boxes of the dye remover to achieve the result and used them in my washing machine. I think it helped that I only washed 3 items in the treatment, and I also made sure the tops were kept wet before I used the Dylon SOS. I washed them at 40deg as I couldn’t risk shrinking the tops by using the recommended 60deg. I managed to wash a brand new burgundy top with a load of colours and the result was pretty catastrophic! Most of the items I managed to dye didn’t really matter, but 3 of my Hubby’s favourite tops were caught up in it and ended up with a spectacular tie dye effect on them. Reaching for the internet it suggested the results could be reversed as long as I acted quickly and didn’t dry the tops. I ordered the Dylon S.O.S and kept the 3 tops wet. I used the Dylon SOS the very next day when it arrived and was amazed at the result. I had managed to dye a light blue, yellow, and grey top, and after using the Dylon SOS for 1 treatment, all of the dye had come out of the grey top, however, there was still some dye left on the other two. I used a second box of the Dylon and the results really are amazing. There is still a very faint amount left on small areas of the yellow shirt, but you can barely see it. I’m really impressed. I am going to buy some more and keep it in the cupboard just in case.

It’s a shame it didn’t work.:(
It didn’t work. I have a fave cream-coloured tote with bright blue linings and shoulder straps. The blue colour stained the cream-coloured fabric and so I tried this product as the reviews were mostly positive. Initially, I tried soaking the tote in a tub of hot water with the Dylon Colour Run remover. It didn’t remove the blue stains on the fabric at all but the blue linings are still bright and as new. I then tried to put the tote in the washer with product at 60°C cotton setting as instructed on the package but it made it worse. Now the blue linings became so faded and what’s worse, the blue stain had spread evenly all over the cream fabric. It now looked like a worn-out, very old tote. Very disappointed.

Did not correct the colour problem
Easy to use but ineffective did not make the clothes wearable again unless for gardening/diy

Better than fantastic
Sadly my wife washed my favourite Zara T-shirt ( a blue/white stripe) and for some strange reason the colours merged so instead of stripes it looked like a modern piece of art. We sort of came to accept it was a write off but after a month I decided to give it a go with a colour run product - what was there to lose ? The recommendations were to try a colour run product as soon after the incident as possible so given it was a good month and had dried in , I wasn't very hopeful I checked out the reviews and thought I would probably use Dr Beckman but the reviews weren't glowing whereas the ones for Dylon were slightly better and the product was cheaper. Yes guys - I made the right choice. How on earth the stripes returned with no colour- merging is like magic. I thoroughly recommend this product and to the extent, I would award it 6 stars. I was so excited to try it out I forgot to take some before/after photos but take my word, it worked a treat on my T shirt. Will it work as well on all garments ? Dont know but at this price you won't have to sell your car to buy a packet. Couldn't be bothered to hand wash it so I machine washed it at 60 deg cotton -

Saved my life!
This product absolutely saved my life! I foolishly washed a red and white blouse with another, cheaper red top I had never washed before. Lo and behold, the white flowers around the neck came out pink. I kept the blouse damp until this glorious little product arrived. I was super pleased to see you can use it to hand wash just one item, thus saving water and energy from running a whole cycle for one item. So I followed the instructions to the letter, brought the blouse out of the wash and...about 70% of the pink had gone. I was satisfied with that, since the flowers had been pink for 3 days at that point and red dye is notoriously stubborn. Anyway, I checked on my laundry this morning and the flowers are back to their pearly white glory! Turns out the item must be left to dry fully before you see results -so don’t be disheartened if you use this item and it doesn’t appear to have worked! Bottom line: keep this in the cupboard, it’s ace.

Moderate results but smell is a NO NO!!!!
I would say it had about a 30/40% effect on an indigo jeans dye on my white gilet - it did something, but by no means restored the item. I used all four sachets over two washes so doubled up so about 15% effective on first wash, so I wouldn't buy again. Main reason was the awful toxic smell, it got on my chest and made my eyes sting just washing in my machine, the coat had to stay outside on the line for a week as I couldn't have it in the house. God knows what toxic chemicals are in this! It's been a week now and the smell is still overpowering. It came packaged in a non-sustainable plastic bag totally squashed in transit, really cheap packaging with little care.

It worked!
Husband washed his brand new dark jeans with my sweaters and stained every single piece. I had purchased this product a couple of weeks before to try on another item that has been stained for a while but didn’t really had time to try yet. Which I’m now glad abt. So as soon as we removed the sweaters from the laundry I drained them again with hot water and this product and let them sit for a few hours. For my surprise, the stains were gone! Completely! I’m still going to try them on the previous stained clothes, but I’m definitely stocking this product in the laundry for eventual need.

Really happy with this product but its bit costly
I did the job for which it was bought. My wife's red slack color got on to my office shirt. It removed the red spots with one wash and one sache. Really happy with this product but its bit costly.

Did not work.
Product did not work at all. Not sure how some of the reviews says that it works but save your money instead and listen to the reviews that says it doesn’t work. I did exactly what it said on the box and I got the same result as how I started with.

It worked!
Hubby washed his new blue jeans with my pale blue tee. Had stripes of dark blue all over the back. Tee was also new. I was super pi_ _ed as he had been told not to touch my laundry. Took a while to get here, but I followed the directions and left it to run overnight. Tee is 100% cotton and now 100% free of dark blue stripes! Buying another to keep on hand! 🥳🎉🎉🤩
