Set up as directed and instructions included in box, peanut butter on top of yellow done lid as suggested. The toggle that was to collect mice in the bottom of a five gallon bucket was not functioning as I hoped after testing. Continue setting up and detached garage, did not catch any mice. Although, they had a picnic at my expense and time. Totally consumed all of peanut butter… No mice captured, I tried for three days and gave up. and yes, I know there are mice in my detached garage, because there are mouse droppings.

Got this on Friday and by Saturday night had caught 4 - four mice. I don’t like kill traps for the mess, and poison might take out a pet. Had luck before with just a bucket and a bit of feed in the bottom- but this new improved type of mouse can jump out. Put this together in about 5 min and mounted on the feed bucket with a bit of the feed they’d been eating going up the ramp (their smell). Caught the first one with me standing there. Next three overnight. Perfect solution for my shop.

I bought this to trap rats, which it doesn’t work for at all. The rats can get out easily. But it does trap mice. Difficult to use outdoors because the trap door blows in the wind.

I've had this trap over a month sitting in the box and just got around to trying to install it. I thought this trap had a lot of potential - a live trap has some appeal - for the most part it went together fairly well with the exception of the ramp. One of the mounting tabs was broken off in the package, the other broke when I tried to remove it from the lid after testing the installation. Not to mention I had to tape the two sections of ramp together to keep them from falling apart. Just be aware if you're thinking of buying one and don't pay too much.

This trap is the best ever. I like how humane it can be and the mice went right in. Easy assembly.

I know this product isn't expensive but I could not even assemble it because parts broke into pieces while trying to assemble - and I am a pretty handy person. Parts are thin plastic
