Deodorants Detox, 2.5 oz by Herbalix Restoratives

Nice product but too expensive for wgat it is.

I somewhat appreciate this product because it offers something that is relatively hard to find: targeting detox for underarms. I didn't notice much in the way of feeling better via any sort of detoxing or lymphatic drainage. There's a slightly different smell after a night of wearing it, which may suggest the pulling out of some toxins, but it's hard to say - it could just be the scent of the product in compilation with my own scent.The design is relatively poor - there's strips of herbs in the stick, which are not distributed through out, they're all concentrated in one area in layers, so they peel off when you get to that part of the deoderant and you lose a huge chunk of it, and all the beneficial herbs since it doesn't stick together! Challenging to explain, but you'll know what I mean as soon as you get to those parts in the deoderant stick. It's really unfortunate.

Excellent product. The very next morning I always have smelly pits, which means the herbs have successfully drawn toxins out of the pores. There is a lot of lymph tissue in that area of the body, so a good way to take some of the burden off the liver, which has to process all the toxins in the blood. (I'm a licensed primary care practitioner using natural medicine to treat health problems.) Although one should not detoxify constantly, that would put a strain on the detoxifying organs (liver, kidneys and skin), I have used this product one week a month for several years. Excellent!

Hate the funky smell my armpits had in morning, but after the first couple weeks, then I didn't even need deodorant. So, I would say I got the backed up bacteria from my pores out nicely.. Had a womens health thermogram done before and then later.. you could tell a huge difference in the congestion areas under my arms.

This detox deodorant definitely worked. I was experiencing rashes and irritation due to my aluminum-free deorant before using this, but having no issues now. I used it for the full month, and the first two and a half weeks were rough - my armpit odor was very bad (as other reviewers have mentioned) although not so strong that others smelled me. After that, the odor calmed down a lot, and by the end my smell wasn't very bad at all. And I was able to go back to my regular aluminum-free deodorant without any problems.Also, yes it does stain fabric a bit, so keep that in mind when choosing what to wear to bed.

I popped this open, excited and based on the reviews I bought a higher strength aluminum free deodorant for the morning. I honestly don't think the reason it smells so bad is that "it's pulling out the toxins," you sweat naturally at night and a little B.O. mixed with this god awful sent is sure to reek.Honestly, I opened it and I immediately regretted my purchase. I still wanted to put it on to see what would happen, now I'm sitting here, unable to sleep because the smell is so potent that my eyes are watering and I feel like the whole room is covered in the smell. Gross.
