Good extra for my camera
I have only used the filter a couple of times and am pleased with the result. I am looking forward to using it in Portugal next summer.

Nikon 62mm CP Filter
1st class filter, like all Nikon products. I use all Nikon filters for my various lenses. I would not use anything else.

Pricey but effective
I bought this particular filter mainly because it was by Nikon, the same as my Camera. The brand name makes it pretty expensive but it really does make a difference when rotated appropriately unlike a cheap filter i bought abroad on holiday once.

Amazing piece of kit, every photographer should have one.
I have used a this Nikon filter for over 30 years and wouldn't go out without it. OK. So I've not brought it from this site. But would just like to tell all those thinking about the item. Do think, buy. I got mine when I was 22, I'm now 56. Item is still in great order, still in it's original box ( I paid £58.98 back then), you could try and find it lower than this price. But you'll spend hours looking online and probably still come back to Amazon.

Unlocked new colors for alpine lakes
Was wondering about cutting down on reflections and it actually works. It doesn't remove the reflected light from water entirely, works better for water that's closer to the camera. But whoa, sometimes the difference is striking. Why didn't get it years earlier, idk.Don't advise using it during sunrise/sunset as it creates weird gradients, but the lighting during this time is beautiful without the filter. Also, it cuts down a lot of the light that goes into the lens which makes it challenging shooting handheld while it's not super bright and sunny. Something to keep in mind.

Nikon glass for Nikon Glass
You can't go wrong with Nikon filters. There are less expensive alternatives out there and some of them are fine but if you can afford it why not Nikon glass for Nikon glass.

Used item has been delivered
it is an excellent filter, but a used item has been delivered (with some dirt and a finger print on it). Nikon should be careful with resellers.
