Works great , handy tool

The quality of this can opener is excellent. It was very reasonably priced for a great product. I used it for the first time today and it was so easy to use and as advertised.One touch and it opened the can.I found it a little heavy but with 4 AA batteries it would be. A superb machine.

It is easy to use once you get the hang of it! The lid does not lift off magnetically for me, but easy to remove once it has finished a full turn, with no sharp edges.

I bought two of these electric can openers one for me and one for my son because he has a disability with his hand and finds it difficult to use the manual kind and also me with my arthritis. The manual ones never seem to last long and don't seem to be able to open the cans completely all the way round so it is frustrating having to keep trying. It may seem a little bit pricey but if it does its job then it is worth it because I have tried umpteen different manual ones and they all end up the same way.

This is an easy item for someone like me who only has the practical use of one hand. The magnetic button just attaches itself to the side of the tin & it is opened very easily, leaving no sharp edges. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but I wouldn't be without it now.

Holy ****! How have I survived most of my adult life without this?One of my major nemesis ever since I had to start opening cans by myself has been the Titanomachy that is food cans vs regular can openers. From turning handle ones where you complete a full turn to find out that, at most, it has left a decorative groove, to the repeated lid stabbing ones where, at the end, your fingers are either numb from you driving all the blood away from them or you feel like you should get a referral from your MD for physiotherapy to at least prevent lifetime consequences from the damage it has incurred during that exercise. None could simply defeat the foe that are food cans, actually making me think why the police forces don't just use layers of them as bullet shields.All this without even taking into account the wonderful potential for bodily hurt that the edges left behind are, like a bear trap in waiting.But no more.This product has come into my life and it makes can opening so different from tradicional high-tech can opening technology that, the first time I used it, I actually thought that it was just a bloody bust as the top was not open at all. And then, looking at the can, the revelation came in the same fashion as one of the prisoner's leaving Plato's allegorical cave.This thing actually cuts the side of the can, completely ignoring the top side. The result? A perfectly safe LID (I can't enphasise this too much!!! A LID!!) that perfectly fits the can...There are no words that can convey how ecstatic I was when this hit me.If you're like me, looking at the pics below will be accompanied in your mind with the sounds of heavenly trumpets and harps.I can just imagine the potential for toy cars with tin can lid wheels that have no dents in them, cars that, when played with, not only don't have extra bumpy ride characteristics but also won't cut off finger tips of distracted children who get run over with them.

Dieser Dosenöffner ist einfach fantastisch. Das einhaken an die Dose geht problemlos. Nach dem drücken auf den Knopf arretiert sich der Öffner und das hintere Ende hebt sich und fährt ganz alleine einmal um die Dose rum. Sobald er die Stelle erreicht hat, an der angefangen hat, hört man ein etwas anderes Geräusch. Würde man ihn jetzt nicht stoppen, würde er sich wahrscheinlich ewig weiter im Kreis drehen.Das abheben des Deckels ist völlig gefahrlos und lässt sich ganz leicht erledigen. Mittlerweile öffne ich Dosen nur noch von unten und benutze nicht mehr die lasche zum aufziehen. Aus dem einfachen Grund, dass ich mit dem Deckel die Dose jederzeit wieder perfekt verschließen kann. Das ist einfach nur super . Gerade zum Beispiel bei Tierfutterdosen, die oftmals etwas größer sind und für zwei Tage reichen.Ich bin total begeistert und kann eine Hundertprozentige Kaufempfehlung geben.Für Menschen mit Einschränkungen, zb. Arthrose an den Händen eine große Hilfe.

Richtig toller Dosenöffner. Einfacher geht's nicht. Der beste den ich je hatte. Einfach nur den Knopf drücken, der Rest macht er alleine. Genial und Kinderleicht!!!!
