Needed for Bookshelf light - LOVE IT
I purchased some plug in under cabinet lighting for my book shelf and the second strip was too short to stay connected to the first portion of the light. So I needed to buy another form of power to connect this second strip and I found this on Amazon and it works exactly for what I needed it for! Easy to understand and to get plugged in and working.

Beware. 6 volts not 5 volts!
Between my husband and I we have ordered 8 of these 5V 2A white power supplies of which 6 of them are actually 6 volts NOT 5 volts. The manufacturer has mislabeled many of these as 5V 2A when in fact they a 6V 2A. Actual volt meter reading show 6.34 volts. Just be aware so you don't damage your equipment.

Bright blue light
Love that there are multiple plugs so you can charge different types of devices with one charger, but the blue light on the charger is very bright and depending on where you plug it in, it can be a little annoying. I use mine in my bedroom and I can't keep it plugged in overnight.
