Fab book!
Iggy Peck was a cool little kid and a pretty talented architect to boot, Rosie Revere would have a lot to live up to. And she does not disappoint. This is a lovely little tale that tells a strong message i.e it is better to try and fail, than to never try at all. Rosie is fascinated by the very male dominated world of engineering and is encouraged by her Grandmother- finally female lead characters that are not princesses! Hoorah! Like Iggy Peck (which i also highly recommend), this book is full of colouful and quirky illustrations. Every child (especially little girls) should have a copy of this book on their shelves.

Excellent and inspiring book
This is the book that every little girl - and actually every little boy as well - needs. It tells the story of an inventor who is laughed at when one of her inventions fails to work as expected. However, she is then inspired to create somethings else; when this fails her wonderful auntie points out that nothing is perfect first time, and the first time is a jumping off point for the next, and the next and so on. This book is a must for all children who have a fear of failing. It teaches then that a failure is a way of learning, is to be expected and not feared, and that the next thing to do is to have another go.

Highly recommended
I love this book. To clarify- someone asked what's the reading level for Rosie Revere? Doesn't he know that Rosie is just a fictional character and, therefore, is unable read at all. Sorry to break this to you.

A good book to teach younsters not to give up on a dream.
Whilst Rosie Revere is not quite as captivating as Happy Birthday Madame Chapeau it will appeal to my five year old grand-daughter when she comes to stay. It is a beautifully written book with illustrations that involve the child. It has an excellent storyline showing you shouldn't give up on something you really want to do just because some people don't have the same interests as you.

FANTASTIC! Exciting, clever and funny, a WONDERFUL addition to your child's book collection!
One of the best book we've ever had (and we have a lot as read 5-10 books with my little daughter EVERY evening!). At the moment I struggle to find good books for my nearly 4 year old daughter as she is very smart and already read so many since she was little, so most of the books for her age are now too basic, yet the ones for the next age group up are often too complicated or too long. THIS book is PERFECT for a smart young child, it's exciting, it's interesting, it's full of ideas, it's funny and memorable and teaches the child so many things! And I think it will still be just as exciting in a year or even two. A BRILLIANT buy, a wonderful investment into your child's library!
