Target Darts Phil Taylor Power 9-Five Gen 9 95% Tungsten Swiss Point Steel Tip Darts Set

When you open the box and see the darts for the first time, you think you have made a mistake and purchased darts for children. They are really small. I found that the darts with its original set up, with a small stem and tiny flights, just didnt suit my style of throwing, which is disappointing considering they cost a few quid. I found that the dart seemed to move around a lot in the air, with the tiny flight. so after changing the flights to kite flights, which is my preference ,there was a slight improvement . However, i ended up changing the stem as well, so im now using my original stem & flight with the new barrel & swiss point. So after a disappointing start, the darts are feeling really good. The barrel is superb, with plenty of grip, and they just fly off your fingers and travel through the air just like a bullet. The swiss point is also superb sticking to the board clinically every throw.

I bought theese darts because I had long-fancied a set of the Taylor darts. The Gen 9 are by far the best looking in the grey finish out of all Generations of the Target Taylor darts. I got these darts on offer, which made them brilliant value for money.

Absolutely fabulous. Bought for my son, who has several sets, he says they are probably the best he’s played with.

Grip level: 3/5 A great feeling grip for mid grippers but rear grippers may find a lack of grip. Although I gave the total grip level a 3, I would say the grip on the rear is a generous 2. Weight: 4/5 - Dart 1: 24.07g - Dart 2: 24.01g - Dart 3: 24.05g All within 0.1g with one of the darts even being within 0.01g! Looks: 4/5 A lovely set of darts but the black coating will wear away extremely quickly (within just 10-20 darts). They wont look terrible after heavy use but there will be very noticeable wear on the barrel. Value for money: 3/5 I got these darts at a much lower price than they retail for but I have rated them based off their original £102.95 price tag. Phil Taylor darts are always going to come with a steep price tag but the work that has gone into these darts is incredible. Conclusion: If you like the barrel shape and you are a mid gripper then i would recommend these darts if they are within your budget. However, i would highly recommend using different shafts and flights.

Second time of using these very expensive darts one of them the point has snapped in half so quite disappointing to say they are supposed to be the best 🥲

Nice darts but they mark really easy. I had 3 games and by the end there were quite a few noticeable scratches on the barrels and stems. Tbf though it's not necessarily about how they look but I play no better but also no worse than I do with any other set of darts

I purchased these darts as i've used some of the previous generations, these look small so may not suit anyone with large hands, i'm used to them and they fly lovely for me, great detailing on the darts & shafts + perfect match weight on all 3 darts, can't ask for more.

Best darts I have ever played with, weight was perfect, the grip on these darts fell Like shark skin. I upgrade the flight and shaft with the new k flex flights, these darts are super heavy duty now. Highly recommend this product.

Gut

Used but like new condition

Die Pfeile liegen gut in der Hand nur die Beschichtung hält aus meiner Sicht nicht sehr lange. Ansonsten ist es so das diese Pfeile sehr gut im Bord halt aufgrund der guten gelaserten spitzen.
