I own 7 of these thermometers and they work perfectly. I have only had one die prematurely on me. It is not accurate to the tenth of a degree, but it is accurate enough to keep my fish and corals healthy. I highly recommend.

I used one of those cheap stick-on strip thermometers on my 20-gallon tank for about a year. It worked okay, but after upgrading to a 40-gallon and seeing one of these digital touch thermometers on a coworker’s shrimp tank, I decided to give it a try—especially since it was only about $10. ✅ What I Like: Way more accurate than the strip ones. It did fall off once, but I’m 99% sure that was my cat’s fault. There were some suspicious paw smudges and cat hair around the area… Clean design: It doesn’t clutter the look of the tank and is simple to install. ⚠️ Minor Notes: The adhesive pad is decent but not industrial-strength. If you have curious pets (like mine), maybe keep it higher on the tank out of reach or reinforce with a backup adhesive if needed. Doesn’t have advanced features: Just a basic thermometer—but honestly, that’s all I wanted. 💡 Final Thoughts: If you’re still using the stick-on strip thermometers, this is a big step up for just a few more dollars. I like the idea and design, it does work and looks sleek. It’s hold has been strong. The battery being irreplaceable means it should last a while, otherwise it’d be a waste to have to constantly buy a new one—but that’s for the future to tell when it eventually decides to go out. My complaint, like I see others saying, is that it’s not completely accurate. Today when I checked, it is a little closer to the 80F I have my tank set at, but it usually sits at least three degrees below the actual temperature, which is why I kept my old thermometer in for better readings and basically makes it pointless to have. If it was more accurate, I’d love it and wouldn’t have any complaints.

Easiest thermometer ever. Just stick on outside of aquarium. Mine is in the bottom corner on opposite side of heater. I went through 2 thermometers (this one was my 2nd) and 2 heaters before determining my heater wasn't getting up to temperature. Changed to a new heater and less than 24 hours later they synced up. 1 year warranty if the battery dies, keep the box!

I am paranoid about not accidently hurting the fish in my aquarium by having the submersable heater malfunction. This extra little thermometer lets me check in an instant whether my aquarium heater is accurate. It's easy to stick on out of sight, on the outside of the aquarium, and only takes a second to read. I understand that the batteries can't be charged or replaced, but so far it's been working for at least 6 months. Well worth it.

I try to be a good pet fish caretaker. This Thermometer allows me to be sure the tank’s temperature is ok for my beautiful blue betta and 2 harlequin rasbora and I like that peace of mind.
