I’m a musician (all genres), and I own a recording studio, so high quality sound is my thing. I don’t like to spend loads on these types of earphones because I only use them for when I’m watching television; however, I still want decent quality sound. The cheaper priced ones I’ve had in the past kept working their way out of my ears if I was eating, or they had poor sound quality (particularly bass), or they weren’t loud enough, or all of the above. I paid more than twice the amount for these JBL’s than I’d normally pay for this type of earphones just to use with my tv, but it’s cheaper than having to keep buying cheap ones over and over again, and these are well worth the price. Being in to sound for several decades, I’m very familiar with JBL speakers for their power and excellent build quality, so I knew I couldn’t go far wrong with their earphones, and I was right! For the price, and for my purposes, these earphones tick all the boxes; volume, bass, connectivity! As soon as I start putting them on my ears, they switch on, giving me an audible message, and immediately connects to my device. And when I put them on, they stay on! Pop them in my ear, twist them around my ear, done! I never have to adjust them! They come with an app that allows you to customise some of the functions which is really cool for earphones at this price. Within the app, iIt even has its own multi band EQ! With presets! Or you can customise your own EQ! Multiple versions even! For what these earphones cost, and for what I need them for, they’re more than worth every penny!

I don't usually write reviews but I was so happy that for the price I payed these earhooks phones sound so loud and the sound is better than Powerbeats that cost a lot more. Sound not perfect but very good. Jbl app not so good, just 3 presets but you can add customised. I gave 5star because for the price unbelievable good sound and volume. Multipoint woud have been nice (to conect 2 devices in the same time). Very happy with these hope they will improve features in the next version. I was so dissapoinded by other brands... maybe more clear quality on audio but after some time pop out from my ears. These good for exercising. Don't get me wrong these sound very good even if you listen for hours but not so good like the one with ANC.

I purchased these earbuds, because of respect for the JBL brand, and because I don't mind paying a premium for good sound quality and comfort. Sad to say, they failed on both counts. Despite trying all of the different size fittings, they felt cumbersome and awkward - I had to literally push and hold them in to achieve half decent sound quality, which is available with sets far cheaper I returned the product, and purchased Soundcore Sport X20, which were cheaper and better in every single aspect Sorry JBL !

Great sound if you download the app, really tinny if you don’t. Only down side is you have to select bass or jazz not a mix depending on track so some sound amazing on one setting and rubbish on the next. So your playlists need to be consistent

Why did you choose this product over others?: They're comfortable to use, and stay in place and have decent enough sound. They're a little bit buggy and very slow to connect to a device though. I've had them no more than two weeks and they intermittently drop connection while being used.

I've purchased these 3 times now (because I've lost/stood on them!) sound quality is great, they're very comfortable but what makes them a must have is that I can use them in water. Swimming in them made such a difference for my motivation to keep going. You do need to download the app and adjust the sensitivity because otherwise if a splash hits your ears it might pause your music or whatever which can be annoying but once I turned some features off I don't have that issue and it is great. The range for Bluetooth is also impressive! Expensive but I will continue to buy these (hopefully I don't lose or stand on them again!) as I rate them! Battery life is also fantastic

It's taken me ages to find a good pair or running earbuds and these are by far the best I have had. I left it for a year as I wanted to make sure they lasted. Most ear buds had not lasted more than a few months. I have had to send these back for repair once, and so I would really like to give them 4.5 stars. However, they were replaced when I did so without too much of a problem. I have bought both cheap and expensive ones before and , if you sweat a lot like me, they simply don't last. The worst ones I ever bought were from Beats and they cost well over twice as much as these. The customer service with beats was truly awful. If you do a lot of running, and sweat a lot, I think these are worth the money. I can now, one year later, confirm that these are built for the job. You need to thoroughly clean and dry them after a good run, and occasionally use rubbing alcohol on the diodes, but this will make them last, which is better than any other I have found.

Pretty disappointed overall. Would not recommend. Comfort is ok/secure fit Sound quality is ok. Volume is not great. Battery life is good. Connectivity is poor at the gym - constant disconnecting. Rubber ear buds fell apart after a few months. After one year one of the ear buds will not charge in the case.
