Very usefull book

You know you have a bargain when the postage is more than the book.

As a beginner in coin handling and trickery I found this book exceptional. I am of a basic skill level of slight of hand techniques with cards, but this book opened up a whole new aspect to understanding the whole perception of slight and misdirection. After two hours solid reading of the book and playing with coins I found myself more confident and fluent in handling small objects. After learning only three select movements and practicing them whenever I found myself comfortable (at work or just waiting...), I was suprising myself and more-so others with the skills I had learnt. I found the latter half of the book very overwhelming when read at first, the tricks seem unfathomable and totally impossible to a rookie. But after only three days now of reading and making what seems incredible progress, the book, like my skills, have become very much a revelation. A Definate recommandation for anyone who has the will and sub-mindedness to do two things at once, but only doing one thing at a time and looking very good at it. A Great Book.

An excellent,timeless book.This details just about every coin slight ever created,not only by JB himself but many more respected magicians.Explains the effect and method for every move. An absolute must have.So glad I found a copy. I got this for less than £6 including delivery. Excellent service from a good, trustworthy seller.

I bought this book for my son's birthday (at his request) along with the "Street Magic" paperback by Paul Zenon. As with the Paul Zenon book this paperback arrived promptly, well packaged and exactly as described so a good purchasing experience. Both books are budget paperbacks with thin cover, pages printed on low quality paper and the occasional 'typo' and spelling mistake. However both appear to be well written and are accompanied by simple line diagrams to illustrate the techniques. My impression is both are books for enthusiasts who seek the knowledge rather than value the publishing quality, but this said they are both well worth the purchase price.

I made a mistake and bough this book for my son but it was far too difficult -the tricks are amazing but it's a book for professional magicians not kids trying to learn to impress their friends. If you seriously want to learn how to do coin tricks , then this is the book for you.

A very detailed book. With practice you would be very good and adept at sleight of hand. Possibly not for the younger reader under 16 yrs due to precise positioning language used. But well written and an effective resource, covering all possible sleights.

Arrived in good and new condition. Has plenty of tricks for a magician to last for a life.....

Has some pretty cool tricks in here that I used to trick my son and nephews. I remember my grandpa doing small magic tricks on me as a kid, so learning some could be a good memory for a child.
