Very dark and well behaved black ink for fountain pens
This is one of the best black inks that I've come across for fountain pens. It is dark as well as well-behaved unlike most blacks inks which tend to be dark grey rather than true black. This ink is a genuine black and it has a shine or luster that makes it stand out. It also does not feather or bleed on most papers. The only other black ink available that compares with it is J Herbin Perle Noir but that ink is a more expensive. Sheaffer Skrip black is another black ink that is dark but its quality has been inconsistent with some batches tending to feather and bleed on even good paper. With Pelikan Brilliant Black, one can't go wrong; it is a black ink that is both dark as well as consistently well-behaved.
