Rolson36019 12-in-1 Multi Tool

I try to always carry some sort of multi-tool on me as I find that when I have one I use it a dozen times a day. As much as I would like one of the much more expensive multi-tools I fear that I would be too afraid to use it in case it gets damaged.This is the perfect alternative to them. I have used many of the tools (saw, pliers, wire-cutters, some of the screwdrivers and the knife) on some light DIY jobs whilst at my in-laws in Greece without any signs of any catastrophic failure. This tool feels tough, well-built whilst still being lightweight and the quality is higher than its price suggests.For me at least, all the tools are useful (no fish-descaler etc). Opening it up fully to use the pliers the tolerances feel tight. Accessing the tools does not require you to sacrifice a fingernail or have to use a second tool to pry them out (as I have found with some other multi-tools) but when in use each tool locks open to help prevent it from snapping closed. The knife was quite sharp when delivered and has sharpened up well since. Whilst bearing in mind that this is a multi-tool (and not an individual tool) I did not find this bulky or difficult to use either in the plier/wire cutter configuration or one of the smaller tools as others seem to have.I am very happy with this product especially considering the price and how it has held up to not only the abuse of it being used but also the sand, salt, water and everything else that I have thrown at it. I would definitely recommend.

This item is completely useless. As said in some of the other reviews, the fixings came loose almost immediately, meaning that the knife actually started falling out merely by lightly shaking it, and in addition the saw is almost useless. Rolson do not even deserve one star for this. Useless!

not sure how solid this is. It has a spring loaded system. It doesn't fully encapsulate the hand when opened, which makes it an awkward thing to use.I like the black metal. The knives are sharp.

Poor quality - tools loosened on first use

I wasslooking for a cheap multitool to add to my geocaching bag, and saw this one offered at a decent price.I like that it has all of the tools i was looking for included and also didnt have the ones that seem the stalwart of many others - that never get used.Arrived when promised and the product is of a resonable standard, its not top of the range, but it dosent look or feel cheap in any way.

Cheap in all aspects, knife and saw are not even sharp. Spring makes noises while operating. Tools are very loose, not usable for most aspects.
