Makeprem Defense Me is a Korean brand with SPF 50+PA++++ that does not leave oily residue on the face. It has already been proven that Korean cosmetics are the best in the world. The secret to maintaining young skin for Koreans is to apply sunscreen all year round. Protecting the skin from UV rays helps improve wrinkles and blemishes. I did not like sunscreen because it was sticky and oily on the face, but this product has improved on those shortcomings. It provides a sufficient amount for the price of $30, and I am very surprised and like that it is absorbed into the skin without stickiness even after applying it multiple times. It does not cause any discomfort when applied to daily life for adults and children, and it feels light like lotion even when applied in the summer when there is a lot of sweat. That is why I apply this product every morning and afternoon all year round. It definitely helps improve wrinkles, and my skin does not have blemishes compared to my friends of the same age. If you subscribe, you can purchase it for about 10% off at $27. If you buy one bottle, you can use it for 2-3 months. I think it's a great deal if you invest about $150 a year to keep your whole family healthy and young. The only regret is that the subscription is often canceled because the stock is not enough. I haven't found a good product to replace this product in the US yet. So when the subscription is canceled due to a lack of stock, it's very frustrating and unsettling. So even though it's such a great product, I can't really recommend it to people around me. It would be great if you could secure enough stock of great products. it doesn't really smell too strongly of a perfume at all which I like, it doesn't leave a white cast, it dries down matte feeling, and for my combo oily normal some areas are more sensitive, and this never breaks me out, UNLIKE other brands that have chemical sun protection this does not irritate! it's soothing to me like the last step of skin care before I leave the house. I work with kids so I'm always outside, it really helps control my facial freckles in the summer. it doesn't leave that gross greasy film feeling at all. I've bought this 2x already one bottle lasts me about a year and 4 months! summer time definitely a must! and I'm almost going to buy my 3rd again. I love it. I hope to have this for the rest of my life! I also used the samples it came with, I like the viscosity if the toner and how fast the toner sinks in, and I like the makeprem safeME too a normal sensitive skin cream lotion very nice, it's pretty moisturizing and calming. nice stuff! will def buy again. even if the price keeps going up and up and up, I'll buy it again and again!!! 10/10 def recommend.

So I’ve been delving deep into Korean sunscreens the past year or 2, and I finally got around to trying the Make Prem one. I understand that they have recently reformulated it. I’m not sure why though. And I can’t say how it performs compared to the old formula. As I never had the chance to use it. So, that being said, I like this sunscreen. But it definitely has its ups and downs. First, you get a lot of it! Yes, the bottle seems expensive at first, but if you look at the price per ounce, it’s one of the best priced K-beauty sunscreens out there. And the formula is pretty thin and milky. Making it very easy to spread. It sinks into the skin quickly, so you don’t have to use as much as you need to with a thicker formula. It truly felt like I was wearing nothing on my skin, it was so lightweight. However, it does have a slight white cast. If you’re fair to light skinned it’s not that noticeable. It just takes a few extra minutes to really blend in. But if you’re darker than that it’s absolutely going to show up on your skin. But if you wear it on your face under foundation it should be relatively easy to cover. This would be perfect for someone who wants both an illuminating base, and a powerful sunscreen to go under their makeup. I took a star off solely for the white cast. I wish that more skin tones could easily use this like I can. It is neither drying, nor is it super moisturizing. More of a natural skin finish with some very light hydration. I’d say that this would work best with a normal to combination skin type. I was able to wear this on my body as well as on my shoulder, neck, and face without any irritation. No stinging of the eyes either, and I like to cover my whole face, including the eyelids with my sunscreen. (If you’ve ever had a sunburn to your eyelids you will understand why!) It did not irritate or dry out my eczema patches, though I’ve got them under control right now. This is a concern for me because I’ve had sunscreens cause flare ups in the past. Nor did it affect the application of my makeup. Everything went on smoothly as if I was wearing a lightly moisturizing primer. It also lasted all day. It’s almost like a waterproof formula with its lasting power, but without the tackiness, or the difficulty removing. It will rub off a white-ish residue on anything black if you are in contact with it long enough though. As a goth, with many black things, I have experienced this first hand. It’s best removed with a makeup remover. Such as a balm, oil, micellar water, or makeup dissolving soap/cream.But regular soap will take it off, you just need to wash the area twice to remove it completely. And lastly, if you were trying to get the whole glass skin/K-beauty glow, then this is the product for you! I looked like I had spread Vaseline on every inch of my exposed skin for the entire 10 hours of wear! It dimmed a bit by the end of the day, but only a little. My face, neck, and décolletage were still glowing for all that they were worth. However, like I said earlier, it was not greasy, oily, or really dewy feeling on the skin. Once dried down it had a very natural skin like feel. So if being matte is your jam, or you are a naturally oily individual, then avoid this at all cost. I would definitely repurchase this, but I might try using it just on my body, neck, and décolletage. Having a face that shiny all day long is just too much in my opinion. And during the summer I don’t want to have to apply, and reapply, a ton of powder to my face daily to dim the glow to a more manageable level. But during the winter when I’m a bit more dry I might change my mind.

The etude house sunscreen was a little too matte even for my oily skin. This product is the best physical sun cream I have tried. Other products I have used include: Supergoop, Colorescience, Tatcha, Dr.Jart, Innisfree, Peter Thomas Roth, etc. Look no further, Makeprem beats them all. The texture of this product is similar to a light face cream. I don’t feel it just sitting on my face and the white cast disappears after a few minutes of application. It’s a soft matte finish after it dries. Some other sun creams would cause my eye to sting if I rubbed my eye but I don’t have an irritation problem with this on my face or neck. Wearing my matte foundation over is not a problem at all and I actually find this to act like a primer so I don’t apply a foundation primer over it. Plus the uv protection is phenomenal. I’m writing this review because lots of people around me ask about this. I’d bring this to my skin clinic and ask my estheticians to apply this after my laser sessions. They are ALWAYS impressed and asking me where I got it. They fall in love with the scent, how well it spreads, and absorbs on my face. Many take pictures with their phone to remember it after I brag about only using mineral sunscreens especially after a laser session and the PA levels of this. If you are a lover of mineral sunscreens or anti chemical sunscreen, give makeprem a try. The package comes with the original product plus a sample size oil cleanser as of now but I used to receive other samples like a foam cleanser and toner. Remember! Must use an oil based cleanser to remove mineral sunscreens effectively. Bonus: Slight price drop? I may have paid $30 in the past but the current price is $27.99 (2021).

So what if there is a semi white film? You’re never going to burn, and the only time you need to reapply is if you sit for hours and it rubs off or you lay on your front while sweating. Pretty much only where it could have wiped off. If I put this on and tan all day, going into the ocean multiple times throughout that day, I will not be burned. This stuff is great, and all the additional benefits that come with it make this my go to. I bring it everywhere I tell everyone about it, I put it on my family. Health and protection are my PRIORITY and this sunscreen is IT!

This is good for sensitive skin. No reaction. Applied 30 minutes before heading out. The white cast is intense compare to some others as EXPECTED of a mineral sunscreen. The problem arises 2 hours later when the sunscreen became dried and irritating. Made my skin feel powdery. I could feel those little specks and can be rubbed off. It's very weird feelings. So I guess you have to wear something very hydrating underneath. This would be good for oily skin not so much for dry skin.

I was not sure how I would like this, but I wanted a stick mineral sunscreen to apply without getting my hands dirty while out and about. I am in the desert Southwest with strong sun. It's great that this is spf 50. I know some reviews complain that it is small, and it is for the price, BUT the small size means it is easier to get into the crevices around the nose, etc. I love the texture. It is silky and feels like a makeup primer. I like it so much that I keep it in my bathroom to put on before makeup and find myself reaching for it more than my other sunscreens. The sun protection seems good (no sunburns, if that tells you anything). I have dry and sensitive skin. I think this would work on any skin type, as it is not greasy or oily. I cannot stand fragranced stuff on my face, and frankly, a lot of Korean skincare has too much fragrance. This does leave a slight white cast, but nothing like a cream sunscreen and it blends in easily. I will repurchase, and will try the cream formulation.

First things first: the consistency. I hate thick sunscreens, but this is a sun fluid. It has a consistency of watery face creams. I knew it wasn't going to be thick because of the "sun fluid" part, but I didn't expect it to be like this! I didn't have to squeeze the bottle much at all for it to come out. It feels incredibly light on the skin, almost like you're not wearing anything at all. It's cosmetically elegant; it's beautiful under makeup (silicone or water-based). Another great thing is that it doesn't long to rub it in. I've used many types of sunscreens where it takes forever to rub into the skin. I didn't have this problem at all. It's a bit pricy, but I think it's 100% worth it. 1) It hasn't broken me out. I have, somewhat, sensitive skin and it hasn't caused any problems at all! 2) There's no white cast. 3) Incredible formula & high protection. 4) It's NOT tacky and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky like other products. This is probably the BEST sunscreen/fluid I've ever used. The Korean (really Asian in general) suncare industry is way ahead of their western counterpart. Highly recommend this product!
