I had an existing plug that I removed. Installed the button in that hole and attached the switch to the inside of the cabinet. Plugged the electrical between the wall and garbage disposal. Connected the air hose from the button to the switch. I feel a lot better not using the old electric switch on the wall with my wet hands. The button is also a lot closer to the garbage disposal than the old wall switch. Works perfect.

We are very pleased with the kit. The design is simple and easy to install.

Allows you to place an air operated with on the counter top without any risk of water issues. Easy to install provided you have a 1 1/4 hole- I had to purchase a diamond saw to bore through granite.. One thing that takes a bit of getting used to is that the plunger must be fully depressed to turn on, then after it recoils, depressed fully again to turn off. I had anticipated a monmantarty contact type switch- but this actually works out better.

Got this to turn on the garbage disposal. Has 2 outlets, only needed one, so second outlet not used. Install was easier than I thought. NOTE: Becareful about having food/debris falling into the small crack surrounding the push button. If "stuff" gets in the button, it may not turn on/off. You may have to take apart to clean! I got a little debris into the crack and used a vacuum and scrapper to get the debris out. Works great!
