Perfect! Just what I needed for my Terrance Stamp Version of General Zod
I bought this boilersuit as the basis for a General Zod costume that my girlfriend helped me make. It was decided that we would have a fancy dress night whilst away on a lads rugby weekend (my girlfriend wasn't there, lads only). The brief was to dress up as a character from a top 3 grossing film that was released in the year of your birth. Given that I was born in 1978 I chose the film Superman. Before anyone says otherwise do note that Terrance Stamp is in Superman but features more prominently in Superman II. In Superman (I) he was committed to the Phantom Zone by Jor-El (Supermans Dad). This is pretty much that last we see of General Zod in Superman that is until Superman II where a nuclear blast releases General Z along with his two mates from the Phantom Zone whereby they are free to wreak havoc on the Earth. Nevertheless General Z does feature in Superman so this character is permitted in accordance with the costume brief. My girlfriend was able to adapt the boilersuit into the best General Zod costume I have ever seen. She removed the collar and stitched the zip so that the boilersuit had this awesome elongated V-neck. Next she stitched some shiny jet black 3 inch ribbon to the V-neck, arms and waist giving the costume that unique Zodyness. All that was left for me to do was to slick back my hair with some styling putty and swiftly paint on a fake jet black beard and I was practically a General Zod clone, all be it a slightly fat one, with a strange beard , slightly thinning hair and Dr Martin boots. I looked amazing but one taxi driver did think I was dressed as the bad guy from the karate kid even though I clearly and unquestionably asked him to ‘kneel before Zod’ shortly before getting into the taxi. He didn’t oblige but I just assumed that was because he was sat in his taxi and didn’t fancy getting out into the cold.

Generous Sizing
These overalls are designed for men, but as I won't be wearing them that often, I chose to buy these based on price. I am 5'3" woman who normally wears a size 10 (UK size). I have a short body and a 31" inside leg. Based on other reviews I sized up and ordered the 36" chest. On receiving the garment I tried it on over a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt and there was ample room without it being overtly baggy. The length between shoulder and crotch is approx 34". Like i say, I have a short body, so the crotch is about 4" too low for me, but probably ok if your body is more in proportion to your height. The inside leg was indeed 31". However, because of the low crotch I am going to have to take the legs up. The chest width is 38" rather than the 36" described and the hips are about 42". The waist is approx 31". I was expecting to have to fold back the cuffs on the arms, but they are 23" long which is fine for me.

Overalls
Good quality for the price. Will just be wearing for light gardening or in the garage when woodworking so don't need heavy duty, padded overalls.Ordered 48" chest (normally 46 short for a suit jacket); plenty of space without being baggy...although the body length feels a little bit short for me at 5'10". Can comfortably wear over jeans and T-shirt. Elasticated waist is a useful feature. Sleeves are about 1" too long for me, would be easy to adjust but I'll just roll up the cuffs. Leg length comes at about 31", little bit of "wonder web" and an iron quickly adjusted to my inside leg. Bit snug across the shoulders so they're a little awkward to get into but hopefully that will improve with some wear.Pockets; description specified two back pockets but I only got one (on right rear) but I got a bonus pencil pocket on left sleeve (upper arm) that will be much more useful! There's a "hammer loop" on left thigh but it's too low and wide to be practical...I might cut that off if it gets in the way. Zip pockets on chest should keep everything in place and the "normal" front pockets have an extra opening so you can access pockets in trousers underneath. As well as the zip front, there are a couple of poppers to close up a bit higher.Too early to tell for quality but stitching all looks secure and poly/cotton mix should be comfortable.

Great quality and comfortable.
These are great! They are made of good quality, strong material. I have worn them for a couple of days now, whilst decorating, and found them very comfortable. I like the zip as it doesn't accidentally come open when stretching, like previous overalls I've worn. There are plenty of useful pockets, including two breast pockets. There is also access to trousers underneath, via openings at the side. They provide excellent protection whilst decorating. I barely got any paint on me, which is unusual! I am a UK womens size 16 to 18. At first I bought some 52" overalls, but they were too big so I returned them with absolutely no problems. I ordered a 48" size, which is about 2 sizes bigger than my chest measurement. These fitted really well. The overalls are slightly long in the arms and legs but could be taken up or, as I did, folded up.

Vault Dweller
I ordered a 38" chest, my actual chest is about 37", I tried it with clothes on underneath and it's a fine fit. Height wise, it's okay... I am only 5ft 6 and I feel like if I was any taller it would dig into my groin area. The legs are a bit long but those can easily be taken up. I read some reviews saying that it was too stiff but mine had no stiffness what so ever...Also the blue is a little bit darker than the picture if that matters to you! :)

Good boiler suit
Had 3 pairs of these over last few years. They shrink a bit in the wash so allow for this when ordering size. They are very hard wearing. 1 pair lasts me over a year, washing once a week whilst working as a machinist. The zip front is a bonus as it stops swarf / dust from entering the front like it can with button up ones
