"European Thick Mud" Weathering Effect Bottle, Brown, 40 ml

Seriously impressive stuff. Looks like mud, goes on like mud, but dries hard. I've used it on my scale crawler for some muddy sides and it's perfect. I didn't treat the plastic at all, just slapped it on there and it went hard nice and quick.

I'm a long time fan of Vallejo acrylic paints, but never used their weathering products. This stuff is amazing! Looks like wet mud, has a great consistency, and even has bits of 'vegetation' fibres in it. It can be thinned to allow for splatter effects too. I will buy more of this range.

Wow. Really great product, saves time making your own. Really easy to apply and dry's quickly. Really enhanced the model I made. I would like to see a bigger bottle on the market. As ever with Vallejo products top draw.

This is great stuff. Looks like mud, and feels like mud. Ass it’s acrylic based, it can be watered down easily enough if required. Really looks the part. I like Vallejo stuff. I think it’s well-priced and great quality.

This was a surprise, I love this product, dries super fast and hard, this enables you I add layers, I’m on my first layer so far so adding more splashes. It’s been called expensive but really what on earth can you buy for £4.99 excuse the pun. In life you get what you pay for and this is worth every penny

my review is closely tied closely with the photos I have added. the biggest thing that I use this paint for is my Mini's, and I find that it is perfect for adding a layer of life to them. I have tried to show off in the photos the different ways to apply the paint if you are painting a trench warfare style army/battlefield. it is a way to add texture to anything. if you look at some of the photos included you will see many different textures (from the light mud of the officer and retinue and the regular guardsmen), that is because the paint is textured and it feels like the paint was truly mixed into mud. it can also be added to just add texture, in the picture of the artillery piece, I have a small layer of mud on the floor boards, and even though there is no difference in the color, there are a massive difference in the texture. all the bases I had used on the minis are bare basses with the mud and a touch of grass, any and all shapes and differences on the bases is just the paint, basically remember that the paint is thicker; which helps because it feels more like mud. I hope this review helps a little while you are thinking what is possible, even if not written the best.

Husband paints Warhammer figures. He said this was good stuff to help make the bases a good "messy mud mess". Takes a little time to set but that gives you time to play with it and some pizzazz.
